The more she thought about it, the more his statement meant more than just him letting her know that he didn't plan on forcing her into anything. He was indirectly asking if she trusted him, at least enough to go to that step with him. She let out a breath in uncertainty. 

Livian was a good man. He certainly was, as soon as she erased everything she thought he had done to her from her mind.
