Nadia POV

Returning back to the coven, several of the witches gathered at the queen's mansion, while we stepped foot into the building. Murmus and whispers flying around ad they had their eyes set on me.

Once we arrived at the chambers, Alina and the rest of the witches left, leaving me alone to confront the queen. I heaved in a breathe and eventually let the chambers open, revealing the queen staring at an art on the wall, with her hands folded behind her. She was all dressed in the royal black robe and she looked effortlessly beautiful.

"You left the coven with a dagger and despite my order for you not to leave, you still disobeyed me. What does that tells you about your attitude young witch?" She asked making a turn to stare at me, with her usual customary emotionless look.

"I am sorry. I was engulfed in my emotion. I really needed to take the head of the humans one by one." I admitted honestly.
