**Sibyl**
On our third wedding anniversary, my soulmate brought a mistress into the pack.
"Sibyl, Daisy is my wife now, from this moment on she is going to live with me," Edwin introduced us, his arm curled around a small beautiful she-wolf with a fragile figure and an innocent face that was nervously clinging to my soulmate's arm.
The bouquet of flowers slipped from my hand, I felt as if I had been struck by lightning.
"What did you just say?" I stared at him in disbelief. This had to be a joke, an absurd one that I refused to laugh at but the rings on both of their fingers, the romantic energy surrounding them, did not give me a different impression.
“You heard me, Sibyl,” Edwin quietly remarked. “She is my wife and…”
“Then who am I?” I demanded.
He stared at me blankly for a couple of seconds. “Of course, you are my soulmate, Sibyl. You are my love and my Luna but Daisy is also going to be living with us. Take care of her…”
“NONSENSE!” I growled, cutting him off. “You dare marry another woman then bring her here to our home for me to take care of her?! What do you think I am, Edwin?! We are soulmates. There is no place for a third person in this relationship. So how the hell are you…”
“Sibyl, I can explain everything to you,” Edwin grabbed me by the arms. “I have a reason for doing this…”
“I refuse,” I declared, breaking out of his grasp. “I refuse to accept any of your reasons or this woman, Edwin.” I had been decorating the packhouse since I had woken up that morning, making his favorite meal and preparing a gift but what he returned to me with was his new wife.
Edwin looked helplessly at my red eyes and flushed cheeks, "Sibyl…” he took a step towards me trying to touch me but Daisy jumped on his arm shaking.
"Goddess! Edwin, is she blind?" Daisy suddenly exclaimed, her wide eyes fixated on my black glasses, which I had been wearing, her words trampling on my dignity. "A blind Luna?”
I was Luna of the Lunar Eclipse Pack, Sibyl Hall. Four years ago, I had lost my sight during a war between my old pack and a group of rogues. My eyes were so severely damaged that even my life had been at risk. Thankfully, I was saved yet my human eyes had been rendered completely blind.
My wolf struggled relentlessly to heal our eyesight in angry frustration. Eventually, I managed to regain my sight in my wolf form, but in a way I never imagined. My eyes turned completely white like a ghost, frightening people. Even werewolves used to freak out at the sight of my eyes. Only I knew how many times I had wanted to gouge my eyes out after I had become a living monster to my own people, but I had failed every time. From that day forward, I began wearing sunglasses, hoping to make my life less painful. Apparently, it had only been the first stage of my suffering. Now, I faced the stage where my soulmate, my first love, had brought another woman into our relationship.
“I am scared, Alpha,” she timidly clung to Edwin, her eyes fearfully avoiding me.
“There is nothing to be afraid of, Daisy. Sibyl is my soulmate. I am here for you,” he did not push her away. Instead, he held her lovingly right in front of my eyes, their close proximity caused my heart to bleed.
“But she hates me…” she whispered, leaning into his chest.
I completely lost control of my wolf and I violently shoved her away from Edwin, “Don’t touch my mate!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs.
“AHH…” Daisy cried out as she fell to the floor, her head bleeding.
“SIBYL!! WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE DOING?!” Edwin angrily growled at me before running to Daisy.
“Are you alright?” He hurriedly checked her for injuries. He wiped away her tears then pulled her into a hug while I stood there heartbroken and abandoned. So, this was how everything was going to play out.
Edwin helped her to get up from the ground as he glanced at me, “Sibyl, how could you attack Daisy? I never expected such poor behavior from you! You disappointed me.”
My mouth was slightly gaped at his remark. “Edwin… you…” I shook my head looking between two of them, “We are done, Edwin!” I barked right in his face then I turned my heel toward the packhouse.
"What?" Edwin stood there stunned. "What do you mean, we're done, Sibyl?" he yelled, but I didn't stop. "Stop right there, Sibyl!" he ordered, but I didn't care. I entered the packhouse, which shone like a new bride.
Every decoration, every candle screamed my love for Edwin, but now none of it held any meaning when my soulmate was no longer solely mine. All of his claims of love and honesty turned out to be lies. My life had never been normal to begin with. I had been raised and abandoned by horrible parents, survived among the nastiest of werewolves, then though I was rewarded by the Goddess when I met my soulmate three years ago. He came as a ray of happiness in my life. I devoted myself to him completely, I tried to overcome the past memories, and vowed to be with him for the rest of my life. It did not matter whether I was blind or...
"Sibyl!" Edwin had long left Daisy in the front yard and rushed inside the packhouse, catching me in less than 10 seconds. "Can't you hear me?" I was pulled into our bedroom where he pressed me against the wall. "Answer me!" He screamed in my face, his eyes full of anger and obsession. "What do you fucking mean we are done?"
I kept my back straight as I stared into his eyes. "It is simple, Edwin. You married another woman while I was still alive. There will never be a reason that you can give me for marrying her that will get me to believe you because I can plainly see your lust for her. You have betrayed me, Edwin!"
Having been in a relationship with him for years, I was well aware of his likes and dislikes, as well as the look in his eyes that he reserved for Daisy.
When I confronted him, the room fell into a dead silence and Edwin's expression changed. "Then who’s fault is it that I had to bring another woman into my life, Sibyl?" he asked. "It has been four years, yet you have not given me a child. What do you expect from an Alpha like me when his soulmate cannot provide him with an heir?"
My eyes widened as my heart dropped into my stomach when he poked at the most sensitive wound of my life: my infertility. During the battle against the rogues I not only lost my eyesight but my fertility as well. At the time I had sunk into a severe depression for months when I learned that I could never bear a child. Other females in the pack had babies in their arms while I was left barren.
"So, you married Daisy for an heir?" I asked, my voice trembling with shock.
He hesitated for a moment before admitting, "Yes."
I held my breath in shock, "I thought you were fine with my infertility and that I was enough for you."
"I lied," he confessed, throwing me into the pit of deception. My heart tightened upon hearing the most devastating truth of my life.
"Can there be a man in this world that doesn't want a child, Sibyl? I am no different. That's why I tried to breed you almost every day, but you did not conceive. You failed me but I did not want to break your heart. So I kept those feelings buried inside me for years," his every word made me realize the web of lies that I had been living in for years. The memories of us spending time happily together turned to lies in my mind.
"How could you..."
He grabbed my hand before I could speak. "I did not betray you. I have only married Daisy so that she can provide me with an heir. But I only love you, Sibyl, you are my only soulmate. Let's not make it into a big deal and live together happily, okay?"
I raised my hand and gave him a harsh slap across the face, "You must have lost your mind, Edwin. At this point, you're trying to tell me that you did not betray me? You're asking me to accept your mistress! You're asking me to live happily with another woman included as part of our mate bond that will be carrying your child in front of me? How dare you, Edwin! HOW DARE YOU!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
Edwin clenched his fists, angrily closed his eyes. "I am doing all of this for our future, Sibyl," he gritted his teeth and opened his red eyes so that they locked on mine. "You have no idea what I have gone through because of your infertility," he accused, my heart squeezing in my chest. "The Elders are questioning me, pressuring me to provide an heir or give my Alpha position to my brother. There is no way I am giving up on my dreams and future."
"So, this is the state of things then..." my voice was barely above a whisper but brimming with my pain. "Your greed for your position is so high that you betrayed our mate bond! Your obsession with a child is so great that you're not bothered by having it from any womb, even if it's not mine!" I pushed him away in heartbreak.
"True, I am greedy for both my Alpha position and a child," he finally admitted brashly, his eyes emotionless.
I clenched my fists and nodded. "Alright, since you've made your choice, do me the same service. I refuse to accept your new wife or your absurd demand of living together with her. I don't want to live with a man who betrayed me. We are over."
Edwin's eyes darkened. "Nothing can be over unless I say it is, Sibyl!" He grabbed my arm tightly, causing me so much pain that I hissed.
"Let go! You're hurting me!" I struggled, but he kept tightening his grip. "I don't want to have anything to do with you now, Edwin. You chose Daisy over me!"
"This is my territory; I will be the only Alpha ruling here. I have told you that Daisy is going to live with us and carry my baby, that's final," he declared. At this point, the man standing before me was no longer the man I fell in love with three years ago. "I did betray you, but only for a child. It doesn't mean I don't love you or that I don't want you. There's no way you can leave me, Sibyl!! I refuse to let you go!"
I stared at him in shock, "What the hell are you saying?"
He smiled and suddenly pulled me into a forced kiss, "I am telling you that I want my mate and mistress both."
My eyes widened at his remark as my mind went blank. He wanted to keep both of us? His painful grip on my hair kept me from struggling, his obsession with not letting me move scared me more and more.
I used all my strength to push him away and delivered another slap. "I am not some toy that you can play with, Edwin!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. He staggered a little, his face snapping to the side. "I've had enough of you, Edwin. I never knew you were this kind of person," I bit my lip. Never in my wildest imagination had I thought that I would be standing at a point where I would need to speak these words, "I, Luna Sibyl Hall, reject Alpha Edwin as my soulmate!" I declared.
Instantly, the bond severed from my end, causing Edwin's wolf to go insane in his mind. His eyes widened as his expression turned dark with evil intent before he grabbed my throat. "What the fuck did you just say?" he barked into my face, his eyes red.
His grip on my throat didn't allow me to breathe let alone answer. "L...et g...o..." I struggled to break free, wheezing as I tried to breathe, but his strength overpowered me. He grabbed my hair with his other hand and released my neck only to toss me onto the bed.
"I don't accept your rejection," he muttered.
I coughed hard and struggled to breathe as I crawled on the bed. My glasses had long ago been knocked off my face. What just happened? Had Edwin... tried to strangle me? My love? My soulmate? The man that had never raised his voice to me? However, the pain in my throat and the heartbreak of my wolf screamed in my mind that what had just happened to me was as real as the sound of Edwin crushing my glasses under his heel.
"I get that you're angry with me over Daisy, but that doesn't mean you can lose your mind to this extent," he remarked, fondly stroking my hair. "Now take back the rejection like a good girl, Sibyl," he whispered.
"No," I growled, slapping his hand away. "I reject you, and I don't want to live with you anymore. Let me go!" I screamed, attempting to get off of the bed, but Edwin caught me again and violently threw me back onto the bed.
"Now don't blame me for going crazy, Sibyl," he growled. I glanced at him and found him unbuckling his belt.
"What are you doing?!" I shouted, once again trying to get off of the bed, but he crawled on top of my body, pinning both of my hands above my head, and tied them with his belt. "DON'T DO THAT! LET ME GO! UNTIE ME!!" I screamed, using every bit of my strength to break free, but it was all in vain. He was an Alpha, he had countless tricks up his sleeves.
Once he tied me, he sat on my thighs and grabbed my cheek, his eyes filled with a twisted look that would scare even the evilest of individuals. "I'm giving you time to think, Sibyl. I really don't want to mistreat you. Make a wise decision, take back your rejection when I return," he leaned down and kissed my lips.
"No!" I moved my face, but he grabbed my jaw and forcefully kissed me, biting my lips until they bled.
"And if your answer doesn't change, then you'll become acquainted with the worst of me," he rubbed his cock against my vagina once before getting off the bed.
"UNTIE ME!! LET ME GO, EDWIN!!" I kept yelling, but all he did was ignore me and lock me in the room.
The room filled with the sounds of my struggles and screams until my throat hurt, and I had to give up. Staring up at the ceiling as I listened to the sounds of Edwin introducing Daisy to the pack as his wife paralyzed me. Edwin... really had betrayed me, for another woman and a child. Not just that, he even treated me in a way I never imagined. The love of my life actually had another face that I was never aware of.
As the night grew darker, the sound of music echoed in my ears. The pack celebrated Daisy's welcome with a party. The gossip was all about my blindness and infertility. There was no one in the pack that was not aware of why I had been dumped and Daisy was chosen. My heart broke into countless pieces until I could no longer bear it.
I struggled to break free for a couple of seconds, but the belt around my wrists tightened until I shifted into my wolf, Zara. My wolf form was bigger and more powerful. Using my wolf's strength, I managed to break free.
When I shifted back into my human form, my clothes were mostly torn, but I could have cared less about it as I stormed out of my room. Edwin had to accept the rejection, freeing me from this tainted mate bond. He had to...
I paused in the hallway when I heard the sound of moaning coming from one of the rooms. I froze in place and glanced inside the crack bedroom door, only to freeze in another heartbreak.
Edwin and Daisy were having sex.
Edwin had finally crossed the point of no return. What little remained of my heart was crushed at the sight of the two of them rolling around on the bed, moaning, and making love.
"Sibyl..." Edwin moaned my name with each thrust he made into Daisy. "I will not let you go... I will never accept your rejection..." he pulled Daisy's hair and continued to wildly fuck her while speaking those obsessive statements.
I slowly took a few steps back and returned to my bedroom. Edwin was not going to let me go because of his wolf, but I could not stay with him after the depth of this betrayal. I simply packed my luggage, put on a new set of glasses, and left the pack without looking back.
Once I was out of Lunar Moon Pack territory, my tears finally broke free from my eyes. Falling to my knees, I screamed my heart out in pain.
Why had this happened to me?
**Sibyl**Sitting at the bus station, I stared at the ominous clouds as lightning streaked across them with dead eyes. The night was deserted, with only a few cars passing by. Soon, heavy rain began pouring down, despite it not being the rainy season. As expected, even the weather seemed to have turned against me. Ten minutes later, I boarded the bus, taking the last corner seat by the window, while my mind filled with memories of Edwin's abuse and betrayal. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't forget the image of him and Daisy together. Hearing him call her by my name while he fucked her made me feel even sicker. My whole body still ached with the intense pain of his betrayal. It had already been half an hour, but I could still feel the pain coursing through my body, even though I had broken the bond from my side. The memories of the moment that we first recognized each other as soulmates along with all the other sweet moments we shared in the past shattered in my mind, makin
**Sibyl**“Of course, it's you," he said, his eyes locking with mine as if he could see through the protection of my sunglasses. His gaze was emotionless, his handsome face unchanged, which made me realize I hadn't misheard. He had referred to me… the principal of Jonathan’s debt. Horror gripped me as the ground seemed to slip from beneath my feet."Impossible..." I murmured, feeling my entire body grow cold as if I'd been plunged into icy water."The creation of the word 'impossible' is one of the mistakes this world has made," his voice was deep, as he stared intently into my eyes, as if he could sense every emotion and fear coursing through my veins. "Anything is possible, just like anything can be sold..." He paused, his eyes briefly lingering on my lips before locking with mine again. "Even a living being."His words sent shivers down my spine, enveloping me in darkness. My breathing became uneven as I became acutely aware of our close proximity. "I don't agree," I remarked, break
**Sibyl**“Luna, welcome back," pack members greeted me as we entered the living room."We were really worried when we heard about your eyes. We're so glad that you returned safely," some high-ranking wolves who used to assist me and Edwin, along with some female warriors that were friends of mine exclaimed. They had all gathered in the living room the day Edwin brought me back from the hospital after I lost my sight. However, none of them dared to look me in the eye, their gaze skittered away anytime it came close to mine. Despite their words of welcome, I could see everyone's terrified expressions, and feel their discomfort. My life had completely changed, and I knew it. I was no longer the old Sibyl; I had foolishly believed I could regain my old life. I continued my work as Luna, smiling along as I interacted with people like I normally would."She has white eyes!"&
Eclipse Moon PackThe painful growl of a wolf echoed in the packhouse. A badly beaten wolf was mercilessly dragged out of a metal cage, blood oozing from various wounds and his breathing hardly audible.“After laying a trap for you days ago, I finally caught you,” Glen glanced down at the wolf that had been thrown at his feet and kicked him so hard that the impact forced him to shift into his human form due to the pain. The man rolled on the floor, holding his stomach, but could only manage a whimper. “It… it wasn’t really me.”It wasn't you then who was the motherfucker who mixedwolfsbane into the Alpha’s drink on the CCTV footage?” Glen grabbed him violently by the hair, yankin
**Keshton**Eclipse Moon PackGlen entered my office and sat on the empty chair hurriedly, “I looked into the traitor’s background,” he informed as I stood by the office window, dropping an ice cube in my whiskey.“And?” I asked without looking up at him, my back faced Glen.“Nothing seemed abnormal. Obviously, he was a rogue before joining our pack," Glen placed the documents on my desk that he collected during his inquiry on the traitor yesterday."What about his bank account balance?" I questioned, taking a sip. I had an Alpha meeting shortly and had to leave the pack so I decided to have a few sips before I left."It’s clean. His bank account has a few thousands of dollars, which is strange considering he must have been given a large sum of money to complete the dangerous task of mixing wolfsbane into your drink…"Glen’s voice faded from my ears when my eyes caught a sig
**Sibyl**“Is that the little blind she-wolf that ripped my fingers off?”The words hit me like a lightning bolt, the Goddess really had to be joking. Why in the world was that sick wolf a member of this pack? On top of that with so many wolves standing behind him, it was clear he was the Head Warrior! Seeing the fury in his eyes, I could tell his intentions were far from friendly. As my mind raced to figure out how to avoid him, I forgot that Aries was standing beside me, as a mysterious excitement flashed in his eyes at the mention of me ripping Noah’s fingers off.“A blind woman did that?” The words instantly echoed from the others, piquing everyone's curiosity. Their eyes studied me from head to toe filled with skepticism. None of them seemed willing to accept the fact that a woman, especially a blind one, could assault a male wolf, especially when they were rogue.“Have the two of you met before?” Aries asked
The Eclipse Moon Pack was rarely quiet, even at night. That particular night was no exception, as the sounds of growling wolves echoed through the room. They were gathered together, shouting and cursing the blind she-wolf who had managed to escape with her life after besting them in combat. Their pride had been mercilessly crushed by a female, an outcome that was unacceptable to any of them.Despite their simmering rage, they were compelled to restrain themselves. Glen had handed down the Alpha's orders that the woman should not be touched, a directive that they were forced to abide by. To voice their frustration over the humiliation caused by Sibyl would only invite trouble. In an attempt to soothe their wounded pride, the group resorted to heavy drinking and heated arguments amongst themselves. However, there was one notable exception to the group’s behavior, Noah.Standing by the window, Noah's predatory gaze followed Sibyl's movements from Alpha's offi
The Eclipse Moon Pack territory sprawled across acres of lush greenery. Among the vegetation, a group of large wolves inheriting different yet rich fur colors, set off in pursuit of a deer. Their crazed speed caused the damp ground to tremble beneath their thunderous strides as their panicked prey darted desperately for escape. Growls reverberated through the air as they vied for dominance, their expressions fierce. Victory would belong to the first to claim the deer. Yet just as they neared their prey, the distant roar of a speeding car shattered the tranquility of the forest causing the wolves to abruptly halt their pursuit. The wolves turned their attention away from the deer toward the source of the disturbance. Someone had driven away but who? In that moment of distraction, the deer seized its opportunity to flee into the forest. They did not care about that and returned to their predetermined meeting spot.Christian and Glen arrived first, followed closely
