Chapter Ninety Seven

The door snapped open, revealing Carlos. I certainly didn't expect him to suddenly show up in my room unannounced, especially with the fact that I was packing and wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

He was quick to notice that things were rather not too normal and walked over to me, demanding to know what was going on. I was not in the mood to speak to anyone since I wanted to do my very best to get out of there by midnight.

He watched me do what I was doing, waiting for me to reply to him but I intentionally ignored him, acting as though I had no interest and honestly, I had no time and interest in having to explain.to him.

" Are you going to tell me what's going on or not?" He demanded to know.

I stopped packing and took a deep breath, trying to relieve all of my stress but get wasn't making it sound better with the amount of questions that he was bombarding me all at once on, especially with the fact that I was already stressed.

" I…I have to get out of here,
