Simon’s POV

Nana was slipping away from me.

It wasn’t obvious, not yet, but I could see the signs. The hesitation in her eyes. The way she didn’t lean into me like she used to. The lack of warmth in her voice when she said my name. It was my fault obviously but I couldn’t have her walking away. Never. She was mine to hurt alone.

I led her through the restaurant, my grip around her wrist firm but not tight enough to raise suspicion. I preferred control wrapped in silk, not iron. People glanced as we passed—admiring, envious. The powerful CEO and his elegant wife. Picture perfect.

Except she wasn’t adored. She was possessed.

The host pulled out her chair, but I beat him to it, taking her hand and pressing my lips to her knuckles before guiding her down. A small gesture, a carefully placed thread in the unraveling fabric of her devotion.

She stiffened for a moment, and then her eyes flickered—hope.

Pathetic. Poor thing. I’d almost feel bad if she wasn’t such a fool for me.

Or was this just another moment before the cold shoulder returned—before he started treating me like I was nothing more than some obsessed fan who annoyed him?Was it because I mentioned wanting a child? Was this his way of talking me out of it? Or had he actually realized how much he’d been hurting me?I wanted to believe it was the latter. God, I wanted to believe it.But Simon was unpredictable. Always.Even now, after he told me to stay away from Noah, I wanted to argue—but I didn’t. I just nodded and let the words settle inside me.Because that’s what I always did.I always chose him.“What’s going on in that pretty little head of yours?”His voice was smooth, drawing me back into the moment. I looked up, startled to find his eyes fixed on me.“Oh, uh…” I forced a small smile. “It’s nothing.”It was a lie. A clumsy, obvious one.Simon smirked. “You’re not a very good lia

SIMONNoah sat at the counter of the small inbuilt bar, completely at ease in my house—like a wolf that had just wandered into the den of another, unbothered by whose territory he had just invaded. He held a glass of whiskey between his fingers, swirling the amber liquid as if he owned the place. A slow, smug smile curved his lips when his gaze met mine.I stilled, my body tensing before I even spoke. “What the hell are you doing here?” My voice came out low, tight, barely controlled.Noah took a lazy sip before setting the glass down, his expression deliberately casual. “Relax, big brother. I’m just being a good neighbor.”Nana turned to look at him, surprise flickering in her soft features. “Neighbor?”Noah chuckled, slow and amused, like he was enjoying a private joke. “Luigi sold his mansion to me. I’m the new owner.” His gaze flickered back to me, sharp and calculating. “We’re neighbors now, Simon.”The words rang in my ears like a goddamn siren. Of course. I should’ve known. Noa

Nana was still crying. That soft, pathetic sound clawed at something deep inside me. It made my chest feel tight, my fingers twitch at my sides. Fucking Noah. It was always him. Always lingering, always finding a way to ruin what was mine. But the worst part? The part that made my jaw lock, my fists curl? Nana cared. She shouldn’t. She should be disgusted by him the way I was. She should hate him. She should have looked at him with nothing but dismissal, but instead, she was soft. Soft in ways she never should be with him. Her eyes had been wide, filled with something she had no business feeling for another man. For my fucking brother. The way she looked at him burned through me like gasoline to an open flame. And now she was crying for him. I hated it. Not just the sound, but the reason. That she was crying for something so pathetic, so unworthy. She cared too much, cared for people who didn’t deserve it, and it made me sick. But then, a thought—a dangerous, sickening

“Simon what are you doing?” Nana asked, her breath shuddering. I remained silent soaking in her disheveled state and ragged breaths. She looked so fucking beautiful, too beautiful. Every inch of her begged to be marked, bruised and tortured by me. Fuck I wanted to hurt her and make her enjoy every bit of it but I couldn’t. She was too pure for me. She tried to get up but I pushed her back, following as she landed softly on the bed, my hands found hers and pinned them above her head. More confusion flickered in those amber depths but I didn’t care. I needed more I wanted more. My blood ran hot rushing everywhere most especially my dick. I leaned into her ears, kissing the back close to her neck. My breath hit against her skin. Her breath hitched. “Simon” she called but her voice only dissipated with the air. I peeled back again. “I hate you Nana.” The words almost slipped out of my tongue but they remained in my head. “You have no idea how much I want to wreck you.” With

“Please, what?” I twisted my finger, curling it, dragging it against the soft, sensitive walls inside her. She tasted divine. I groaned, shoving my fingers back inside her, thrusting, curling, teasing. This time, I went deeper, stroking, teasing. I found that sensitive little spot that made her body go weak and pressed against it ruthlessly. Her thighs trembled. Her walls clenched tight again, desperate, begging. She got close. But I ripped my fingers away again. She whined. A frustrated, broken sound. “Simon, please—” I gripped her jaw, tilting her face up. Making her look at me. Her lips were swollen, wet from the cries and gasps that had slipped past them. Beautiful. “You don’t get to beg,” I said, my voice low, dangerous. “Not after what you did.” “What?” Her eyes shone with confusion. She was too wrecked to understand, to think properly. Good. I slipped my fingers past my lips, licking away the taste of her, savoring her. And then I stood, leaving her panti

“Is it another woman Simon?” My voice echoed through the silent office slicing the air thick with tension. Another silence followed as the man I was talking to barely acknowledged my presence.“Simon answer me!...Do you hate me now? Are you tired of me? Is that what this is about? I continued, my loud voice trembling with sadness laced with anger. I felt my stomach twist and a full ache tugged at my chest.Simon slowly raised his eyes from the laptop that sat on his desk, his expression darkening. His grey eyes glared at me. They used to be my favorite but now they made me anxious.I shot a tearful glare back at him and he exhaled sharply before softening his gaze.“What are you talking about Nana?” his cold clear voice finally broke out. I could sense a hint of irritation in them. “Why do you always have to do this?”“I don’t understand you anymore Simon” my frustration spilled. “Do you still love me?” My shaky voice almost breaking into a full sob. “Did I do something?”“You didn’t

NOAH’s POVThe bass thumped through my chest, pulsating with the flashing lights that cut through the darkness. The air was thick with anticipation, mingled with the scent of sweat and a hint of cologne.Colorful strobe lights dart across the room, illuminating a sea of bodies moving in unison on the dance floor, lost in the rhythm of the DJ’s hypnotic beats.I sat in the bar section lined with an array of vibrant cocktails, their hues casting a subtle glow.I leaned back at the bar, nursing a whiskey, letting the burnt orange heat slide down my throat. My gaze drifted over the crowd a sea of bodies swaying, grinding, wrapping around each other. But none of them held what I was looking for, that elusive spark I couldn’t quite name.“Tsk! Not good enough” I muttered under my breath sipping another handful of the burnt orange liquid that heated me up.“Ciao, bellissimo(hello handsome)” A raspy voice cut through the music as heels thudded in front of me. Nana’s POV There he was sitting, a face I hadn’t seen in years with those smile I remembered as adorable but now stirred up something in me. “Noah? Is that you?” my worn out voice spilled out almost in a whisper. I couldn’t believe my eyes. He stood, looking taller than I remembered, the years filling him out in a way I hadn’t expected. I didn’t move as he approached, his eyes glinting with a quiet dare. “I’ve missed you, birdie,” he murmured, his deep, soothing voice grazing my ears as he stopped just inches away. “Don’t call me that!” I protested, playfully swatting his hard, firm chest. But he was real, standing right in front of me, close enough to touch. His laughter rang out, digging up a well of nostalgia inside me. It filled me, in a way I hadn’t realized I was missing. “Come here you little devil!” I spread my arms wide reaching for a hug. The scent of his cologne filled my nostrils as I buried my face in his chest. “Aww! Did you miss me?” He teased. “Of course not!”

Noah’s POVOh, sweetheart. If only you knew what your loving husband spends his nights doing to other women.I watched as Nana walked away, Simon’s grip tight on her wrist as he pulled her along like some devoted husband. It was laughable. He could bring her flowers, kiss her senseless in her office, whisper whatever sweet lies he thought would keep her tethered to him—but it wouldn’t last. She took one last look at me. Hesitant. Conflicted.Good.Her faith in him was already crumbling, even if she wasn’t ready to admit it yet. And Simon’s pathetic affections wouldn’t hold her together for much longer.Earlier, I met up with Maddy, expecting her to deliver exactly what I needed. Instead, she brought something entirely different.“I’m sorry, Noah.” Her voice was strained, her hands clasped together in desperation.I frowned, already knowing what was coming.“I failed.” She swallowed hard, glancing away. “But—I have an explanation.”My silence urged her to continue. I took in the marks

The air in the room changed, thickening with something I couldn’t quite name. His fingers, which had been idly tapping against the desk a second ago, stopped moving. And then, slowly, his expression hardened.“What is this about?” His voice was cold, almost detached.“You know what this is about, Simon.” I searched his face for a reaction, but he remained silent. “I think… a child would bring us back together. Just like before.”His jaw tensed. “Nana, we agreed—”“I know what we agreed on,” I cut in. “But things have changed.” My voice was firm, but my chest ached. “You were gone all night, Simon. You didn’t even return my calls.”Silence. He just watched me, his gaze unreadable.I took a shaky breath. “You say we’re fine, but you and I both know that’s not true.”His expression didn’t shift, but for a brief second—so quick I almost doubted it—I thought I saw it. Guilt. It flickered across his face before vanishing into indifference.“This isn’t about a child,” he said finally. My hea

Nana’s POVThe alarm buzzed, jolting me upright in bed. My heart pounded in my chest as I blinked against the dim light filtering through the curtains. When did I fall asleep?I had only closed my eyes to push away unnecessary feelings—about Noah, about Simon, about the gnawing anxiety that had been sitting in my gut since last night.I glanced around. The room was empty. He never came home.My stomach clenched, but I quickly shoved the feeling down. He probably had something to do. That’s all. It’s what I’ve always told myself. It’s what I had to tell myself.Simon would never betray me.And I would never betray him. That’s how it had always been. And I needed to set boundaries with Noah. I needed to focus. Everything would sort itself out.The sun had barely risen when I headed out for work. Work—the one constant in my life. Some people dreaded it, but for me, it was an escape. A place where my thoughts quieted, where I could pretend everything outside the office didn’t exist.Wit
