Chapter 1

“The last Romance novel you made was a huge success!”

“We heard you’re writing another novel, may we asked what is it all about?”

“Is it another Romance Novel?”

“When it will be released?”

Tons of questions were bombarded as flashes and clicking of cameras were heard in the conference room as an interview continue. An elegant smile spreads across the writer's lips as the crowd of interviewers were waiting for her answer. She then takes the microphone and moves it closer to her lips as her soft voice echoed throughout the room.

“My heart was overwhelmed as my recently finished novel was a huge success.” She smiled and continues “As for my new novel, of course it will be still a romance novel but I won’t disclose neither release any other information regarding to it,” she winks at them, making the others more excited and wqits in anticipation with her upcoming novel release. After the press conference ended, Natalie Smith quickly heads towards her car as she has a schedule of book signing to attend to. As always, she was excited to go and meet up her beloved supporters and befriend most of them once again as like what she did with her previous ones.

“Look there’s Natalie’s car!” her avid readers exclaims as her car gets visible in the venue and they excitedly cheers as she got out of the car. Natalie greeted warmly by her readers and supporters. She smiles into the crowd and heads inside the venue as  her supporters follows her inside for the signing event she’ll be holding for today.

Natalie’s POV   

                I already held a lot of book signing and interviews but it still really warms me up inside. I didn’t imagine I become one of the most well-known author. I sat on my seat as the book signing starts.

“Ms. Smith! I really like your books, it inspires me a lot. I want to be just like you in the near future as I myself write stories as well.”

 I looked at her, she is the last person that I’ll be interacting as the book signing today is already done. It's a girl in her early teens. I smiled as I took her book and signed it, I look at her and thanked her, smile never leaves in my lips. As a novelist, hearing this kind of compliment makes me get more motivated to write more and share it with them.

“Thank you dear, I would love to read your story as well sometime so I can give you some advice and pointers on it”

I watched her as she nodded happy and left. I smiled as I remember myself back I was a teen like her. I have been daydreaming  for a while just then my manager and best friend, Stella, walks towards me.

“Let’s go and celebrate!” she grinned as I, once again had a successful event. I laugh at her and nods happy. “Yeah sure thing, my treat~” I cooed and holds her hand playfully as we walk to my car and headed to our favorite restaurant, along with boyfriend, Russell. He and I were already three years and he is my inspiration to the books I’ve been writing. He’s like the Romeo to my Juliet. My Edward to my Bella. I giggled at the thought of it. 

“Girl, is that Russell?”

My thoughts were cut off by Stella as she stopped the car in front of the restaurant and saw my boyfriend inside, sitting alone. I guess he knows we’re going here. I smile and goes out of the car happily, with her following me. As we enter and walk towards him, my smile faded when a girl goes to his table and sat beside him and holds his hand. I then thought that she may be just a friend and just wanted to say hi but then my heart shattered as the girl leans after a while and kisses him in the lips which he didn't pull away and kisses back instead.

Natalie’s POV END

                The two continues ‘eating out’ their faces, Natalie furiously pulls away the woman and starts pulling out her hair. The woman screams out in pain making the dumbfounded Russell snapped out and looks at them. Realizing he’s been caught by his girlfriend cheating on her, he was about to make an excuse, Natalie runs off the restaurant leaving him, the woman and his girlfriend’s best friend there.

“Natalie, wa—“  he didn’t even finished his sentence as Stella punched him square in the face, making him fell into the ground.

“You bastard! Don’t you dare to follow her!” Stella screamed as she quickly leaves to follow her friend. She quickly goes inside her car and drives to look around for her around as she knew she’s not yet that far.

                Natalie continues to run away from the scene as flashbacks of her and his cheating boyfriend, well now ex-boyfriend flooded into her mind.

FLASHBACK

Day one of their relationship~

                Even when their feelings are mutual, Natalie and Russell still feel awkward with each other as it was their first day as official couple. They were in their favorite spot in the café as it was the place where they first met and become friends.  They stare at each other for a while as then Russell breaks out the silence.

“So do you like coffee?” he stupidly asked her. Natalie was dumbfounded at this but the laughs out as he does know she does. Feeling a bit less awkward, he laughs as well and from that point on the day starts smoothly for the couple. They start to talk more and gets more comfortable with each other.

They continue as they slowly does what couples do, little by little like holding hands and such. When the night comes, Russell bring Natalie back to her apartment.

“Thank you for today,” she said as a smile spread on her lips as she was talking with Russell. He just smile back in process and rubs his nape then, a habit that she notice with him when he was nervous or he wanted to say something. Seeing that makes her giggle at how adorable he is.

“You’re welcome,” he said as he continues.

“It’s already late, you should take a rest already.” he continues as then he bids goodbye to Natalie. But before he leaves, she holds his wrist and pulls him closer, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“Again thank you so much for today, I had so much fun.” Natalie smiles at him as Russell leaves with a huge smile on his face.

1st Month of their relationship

                Times flies quickly as it is their first month anniversary. They agreed to have a date into a fancy restaurant later at night after their working schedule. Natalie gets so excited as she was writing up her novel. Bursts of emotions and imaginations build up and she quickly write it up for her upcoming novel. She then finished it before the time ends and ready herself for their date.
