With my heart beating wildly against my chest, I met them halfway across the hallway, just outside of the Cafeteria. Fiona frowned as some students hurried out of the cafeteria, nearly shoving her out of the way.

"Are you alright?" Asked Kath, her voice laced with concern. Out of everything I was expecting her to ask me, that didn't top the first twenty list which just made me feel more guilty.

"Yeah, just Damien being Damien." I replied still feeling uncertain.

"While I usually do not condone violence, Brandon totally deserved what he had coming. What's his deal anyway?" Fiona chided, I wasn't surprised to hear her say that, she never liked him anyway.

"He has this notion that I belong to him even after he rejected me. Can we not talk about him please? I'm really hoping what happened here doesn't get to my Mom or Jordan, things are already tense at home... Which reminds me, do you guys want to help me get ready for the charity event?" I asked, changing the subject.
