Lana’s POV

My heart kept beating wildly against my ribcage while I spaced around my room. I have lied and said it was all Emma’s fault, hoping he would stop searching for her and hate her, but no! He wants to wage war on her people and probably bring her back to the pack.

Tears welled up in my eyes as the thought of how alpha Lucas was under Emma’s spell baffled me. My plans always ended up backfiring, and now he wants to go to her pack again. What if Emma is truly there, and that means I have lost once again to her?
