Destiny

My heart pounded as Alpha Aldric declared that I would be his Luna, his mate and companion. Terror coursed through my veins as I realized how I was about to betray him—the very man who thought he could trust me to stand by his side. A million guilt-filled thoughts raced through my mind, forcing a wave of nausea over me.

Aria and Nathan's gaze felt heavy on me like they were trying to read my every thought. I could tell Aria didn't trust me fully as I let out a small sigh, feeling my heart ache for Alpha Aldric build.

We had been working together for weeks on this plan, but I still wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do. Despite my doubts, I stood by them.

I felt Alpha Aldric's hands on my waist, and warmth spread through my body. He slowly pulled me closer. "What are you thinking about?" he asked.

My heart pounded even harder as Alpha Aldric's question pierced through my racing thoughts.

"I was just thinking about us," I replied, trying to sound as sincere as possible. H

DestinyAlpha Aldric's amber eyes locked in mine. "Did you know about this?" He said in a low and menacing voice.I swallowed hard, unable to speak. I knew I couldn't lie to him, so I just shook my head to answer his question.Aria and Nathan stepped forward, their chains still rattling in their hands. "We know you killed Emily," they said in unison, their voices strong and unyielding.Alpha Aldric's expression hardened. "And how exactly did you come to this conclusion?" he hissed."I found your precious family crest near her body. How else would it get there, Alpha?" Nathan snarled.Alpha Aldric's eyes narrowed as he contemplated the accusation. After a moment of silence, he said, "Fine then. If you insist on believing that I killed Emily, then let us settle this with a fight."He released a powerful roar that echoed throughout the garden and lunged towards Aria and Nathan with blazing speed. They both jumped back in surprise and readied their chains to defend themselves against the

DestinyThe cold iron shackles clinked as they were fastened around Alpha Aldric's wrists and legs. Nathan didn't want to risk it and made sure to tighten them before letting the guards lead him to the dungeon.I watched, my heart aching with each metallic sound, as the guards led away the man I had grown to care for. The cold dungeon waited for him."My Alpha," I whispered, my voice choked with emotion. But this was better than death. I didn't know what I would've done if Nathan didn't listened to me and killed him right in front of me.Aldric turned his head toward me, and for a moment, our eyes met. His gaze held a strange mix of anger and vulnerability that made my chest feel tighter. He opened his mouth to speak, but the guard yanked the chain connecting the shackles, causing Aldric to stumble forward and cut off any words he might have uttered."Move!" the guard barked at Aldric as they continued their march towards the dungeon. My legs felt weak as I stood there, watching helpl

DestinyI could see the entrance of the dungeon looming ahead of me. But my heart sank the closer I got as I realized that there were two guards standing firmly in front of the entrance.'I can't go past the guards,' I whispered to Rosie as I eyed the entrance of the dungeon from a distance. My stomach twisted into knots at the thought.'Find a way,' she said, her voice gentle yet firm. 'Just think about your mate down there, cold and alone.'I shuddered. And completely pissed off, I thought to myself.I had no idea how I was going to get past the guards without being noticed, but I had to try. Taking a deep breath, I slowly stepped forward, my mind racing with ideas.'You are the Luna of this pack. What are you doing? Just march over there and demand to see him!' Rosie scolded me. The idea of simply marching up to the guards filled me with a sense of dread, but I knew I had no other choice. I took another few steps closer and then stopped as one of the guards spotted me and shouted

Aldric'They really think they could keep me confined here, don't they?' I chuckled lightly as I watched Destiny leave.'Well, you are kind of helpless right now,' my wolf chirped.'Helpless! Don't make me laugh. I am merely waiting. Those fools didn't know what they were doing and didn't get their timing right. If they were smart, they would've done this much earlier,' I said.My wolf laughed along with me as they knew exactly what I meant. The next day, Nathan came inside the dungeon to visit me."Ah, Beta Nathan," I jeered, "so faithful and loyal. What brings you here? Do you come to gloat about your victory?"Nathan didn't smile. "Today is your trial, Alpha Aldric. So I wouldn't be so cheerful."I raised an eyebrow. "A trial for what? It seemed that you had already found me guilty. So this trial is just for show, isn't it? I didn't think you were the type who likes theatrics.""I only agreed to it because of Destiny. She is Aria's sister and the Luna of this pack as of now. So, I

NathanAnger and frustration boil up inside me as I realize that the Blue moon is rising tonight, and I'm too late. How could I have been so stupid to be consumed by my need for revenge and lose track of time?I watched with horror as Alpha Aldric began to transform into a monstrous beast. His body stretched and bulged grotesquely, the snarls emanating from his throat deep and harrowing until he stood before me in the shape of a werewolf, unlike anything I had ever laid eyes on.The rumors were true, and he was no ordinary wolf shifter like we were. I turned to Baron, who was staring at him too with his eyes wide."I fucking knew not to underestimate Alpha Aldric. And yet, I listened to Destiny and let him leave. I should've killed him," I barked in frustration."What...what is he?" Baron said in a hoarse voice.I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms as I fought to contain the rage within me. The bigger problem was that my mate was no longer a regular werewolf. He was now the epitome of monstrosity. His eyes glinted with a red-hot fury that I had never seen in them before. Not even when he was cruel to me in the past. His fur was matted with the blood of his victims. His once-muscular physique was now grotesquely distorted, his veins bulging and pulsating under his skin. What the hell happened to him?My mate growled deeply, baring his razor-sharp teeth as he carried me through the woods. I sat on a bench, cradling a bundle of joy in my arms. My baby was finally born, and she was perfect. After that fateful night with Selena, my life changed drastically. Baron, the one who betrayed me and Aria to side with Selena, was finally brought to justice. Alpha Aldric showed no mercy as he banished him off to an island. The taste of revenge was bittersweet as I watched my former friend disappear into the horizon, knowing he could never hurt me or anyone else again. Aria kept her promise to Nathan and left with him. This time, I wasn't angry. If that's how she finds her happiness, then so be it. Alpha Aldric approached, a tender smile gracing his features as he looked at the precious life we had created together. The baby, swaddled in a soft blanket, blinked up at me with curious eyes. "Spending some quality time without me, I see," Aldric said and smirked. I smiled, my heart brimming with contentment. "Yup, with our little miracle, Clara." Alpha Aldric sat down beside me

The challenge had ignited a spark in her, and for a moment, the mask of her composed demeanor cracked. "Aldric, you always did have a proneness for theatrics. Fine, let's end this once and for all."She released her grip on Aria, and she scrambled away, putting some distance between us.I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what lay ahead. Selena was not someone I could underestimate. She was a vampire and was stronger than me in some ways, as much as I hated to admit it.Selena advanced, her movements fluid and deliberate. Her eyes never left mine as she prepared for the confrontation. The first strike was s
