Two

Mirabel smile as she walked normally, she knew the rich strange guy can't see her anymore. One thing I must have forgot to mention, Mirabel steals sometimes when she can't make ends meet.

You can't blame her though, life gave it to her hard. You can't play the games if you don't know the rules.

She might have learnt the wrong rules but it's still a rule. She followed Adrian to the rest room after wetting herself with alcohol.

She intentionally bump into him to steal his wallet but as faith would have it she was able to get his chain too, a golden wrist watch with letter A.

"Thanks Mr Rich stranger" she mutter trying to find a restaurant.

" Man there you are" one of his friends said as he pointed at him.

" What took you so long?" Nick asked as he sat beside them. "Sorry, something delayed me" he apologized.

" Don't tell me you did a quickie in the restroom" Nick exclaimed and Adrian glared at him. He wondered how he hasn't gotten a girl pregnant yet.

All he thinks about his s*x, he must have been a s*x god in his previous life.

"Unlike you, I don't screw everything under skirt" he snapped and Nick chuckled

" Nick since when do you look ugly?" One of their friend asked already drunk. "I think you should clear the bills" Nick suggested and Adrian nodded.

He reached for his wallet but it was no longer there, he searched his pocket but he felt nothing.

"I guess I left it in the restroom" he informed Nick and left in search of it. Searched everywhere in could think of but he couldn't find it.

He walked out of the restroom then something dawned on him, a lady bumped into him.

"Shit" he cursed and he quickly checked his wrist, it was then he realized he isn't wearing his wrist watch too.

"I have to find her" he mutter rushing back yo Nick. He would have let her go with the wallet but he definitely can't let her have his wrist watch.

That was the last gift his mom gave him before she passed away. "Nick, I will clear the bills find a way to get them home. I have to go" he rushed his words as if he had hot water in his mouth.

He payed the bills through transfer and rushed out of the bar. 'She couldn't have gone far' he thought as he drove slowly, trying to see who was in the house and those that are walking by the roadside.

He smiled as he saw her sit calmly in a restaurant with his wallet in front of her. The restaurant was very close to the road so it made it easier for him.

She also left something that only him understands. He parked his car in the parking lot and walked into the restaurant.

A waitress placed Mirabel order in front of her and she started eating immediately. Adrian sat behind her and just waited for her.

He has no idea why he's not getting mad at her for stealing his precious necklace, the last time someone tried to steal it. He broke his hand and locked him up.

But he isn't doing anything to Mirabel, is it because she's a girl or what? He hasn't felt like this towards anyone in since like forever.

"Your bill ma'am" the waitress gave her a piece of paper as soon as she was done eating.

"Here" she payed her more than enough, "this is too much ma'am" she complained.

"Keep the change" she said and the girl smile, " thank you very much" she appreciated and Mirabel just nodded.

Adrian just chuckle as he listened to their conversation, she have the nerve to do charity with his money.

"The food here is good isn't it" he started covering his face with the menu. Mirabel turned to see the person who gentle and handsome belongs to but his face was covered with the menu.

"Yeah, it was good" she replied, "will you like to visit again?" He asked and Mirabel almost thought he owned the restaurant with the way he spoke.

"I don't know" she shrugged, "why aren't you sure? Don't you believe you will be able to steal money?" He asked and her heart skip a beat.

What is this stranger talking about? Why is he talking about her stealing? She suddenly feels like he saw her steal.

"W.... what are you talking about?" She sturter in fear. Everything will be over if she's caught.

He is definitely going to report her to the police, why did she buy food and also give tip.

'you are definitely an idiot Mirabel, have you ever heard that a poor person gives tip' she thought.

"Hello! Are you there?" Adrian asked waving his hand, he already dropped the menu.

'it ... it's him... It is really over' she thought as fear engulfed her, sweat was already running down her body.

"S.. i.. r" she sturter, "I can actually explain" she managed to say. "I'm listening" Adrian said gesturing a go ahead with his hand.

" I actually lost my job and I was hungry. There is no means of getting food unless i... I steal. I'm sorry you lost your money" she bowed her head in an apologetic manner.

She waited for him to say something, scold her threaten her. That is what they usually do when they catch her.

But thus rich stranger is not saying anything, she took that as an opportunity to drop the wallet and wrist watch

"I promise not to steal from you again. Thank you for the meal" she appreciated and wanted to rush out of the restaurant when he ordered.

"Stop!!" His voice sounded so strict so she froze and slowly turned around. She wanted to guess what he is going to do to her by staring at his eyes but what she saw was not helpful.
