Jealousy flooded my veins as I watched Anna stand with Roger in discussion. He saw me and held her hands, to make me feel more bad. I didn't want to leave, so I watched them until Anna took her leave.

Does she truly love him? Will my Beta’s suggestion work as well? If Anna doesn't get to forgive me, as my Beta said, Roger will claim my throne. But one thing baffles me, will Anna let that happen when the child she's carrying is mine?

There's no opposition that the child is mine, so if I would go ahead to abdicate the throne and our child is crowned, will she put Roger on that throne and have him claim what's mine?
