CHAPTER 5 { OLD ME }

Alice was standing at the front of Stella apartment,she exhaled deeply before touching the door bell.

Stella was grumbling inside her room cause she was about to take a nap when the door bell rang.

'I wonder who's that' she taught inwardly before walking towards the door.

Alice rang the door bell for more than 2 minutes before the door finally opened.

"You"They both chorused.

"What are you doing here"Stella asked.

"Do you live here"Alice asked not responding to her question.

"Yeah i do,so what are you doing here?" Stella asked.

"Umm i live around this neighborhood,my mom informed me that some people moved here and i decided to pay a visit only to meet you here"Alice lied.

"Umm sorry the other day i was a bit rude to you and your friends"Stella apologized.

"No it's ok we're cool"Alice said smiling.

"I can't believe you're good at lieing"Bethany said from the other line through the bud.

"Can i come in?"Alice asked.

"Yeah sure,I'm sorry my manners"Stella laughed.

"Wow"Alice exclaimed.

"Ask for a drink"Bethany said through the bud.

"Ok"Alice replied.

"Can i get a drink?"Alice asked.

"Yeah sure, umm which type?"Stella asked.

"Energy drink cause am really tired"Alice said yawning.

"Ok hold on"Stella said before heading towards the fridge.

"Now place the device"Bethany said from the other line.

"Ohh ok"Alice said before inserting the device on the chair.

"Can you hear me now?"Alice asked.

"Yeah it's clear,now you need to leave"Bethany said.

"Ok"Alice said.

"I'm back,here you go"Stella gave the drink to Alice but she refused it. Stella have her a questioning look.

"Umm I'm sorry,my Mom just called me i need to go,see you another time"Alice said before walking towards the door.

"wait"Stella called and Alice turned immediately.

"What?"Alice askedm

"Your name?"Stella asked.

"Alice"Alice replied.

"I'm Stella nice meeting you"Stella said.

"You too"Alice said before opening the door

"She's beautiful"Stella muttered before going inside.

"Are you sure it's working?"Alice asked after entering the car.

"Yes"Bethany replied.

"Can't believe they will buy a muted CCTV camera"Bethany scoffed.

"Yeah me too"Alice replied before the car drove offm

"So when are we attacking?"Brutus asked Viper who was silent.

"Tonight. Xavier wants to see me so let's go there now"Viper commanded.

"Not again"Diablo complained.

Then suddenly their eyes met with someone familiar inside another car.

"Is that Denis?"Diablo asked and Viper shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm not sure"Brutus replied.

Alexa was at the front driving while Denis and Denise are at the back.

Denis and Denise are twins giving birth by the Lewinsky family. Mrs Cecile is Alexa elder sister,while Mr Gibson is Cecile husband.

They all lived together back in Italy before Alexa decided to relocate to California.

"Who are they"Denise asked when he saw his brothers staring at Viper.

"I don't know"He replied.

"Then why were you glaring at them?"Denise asked again.

"Can't you shut your mouth for once"He yelled.

"Ok ok you don't have to shout at me"Denise said before facing her phone.

"Are you two arguing again?"Alexa asked but got no reply.

"Can't the two stop fighting for once"Alexa said.

"No..."They both shouted.

"Why?"Alexa asked.

"Cause he's too cold"Denise snapped.

"And you talk too much"Denis replied.

"Ok kids stop fighting for once,we are almost there"Alexa said and everywhere became silent.

After some couple of minutes they finally arrived at their destination. Alexa packed her car at the garage before coming down.

"Wowww"Denise exclaimed loudly.

"You like it right?"Alexa asked smiling.

"Not like,i love it"She shouted before running inside the house.

"Denise will always be Denise"Denis shook his head.

"She just being her self"Alexa said.

"Where's my baby sis"Denise called.

"Stop calling me that"Stella scoffed. She was at the living room.

"You don't miss me?"Denise asked with a frown.

"No"Stella replied bluntly.

"But i do miss you"Denise smiled before she hugged Stella.

"Let go,you stink of sweat"Stella teased.

"Cupcake"Denis called from behind.

"Muffin"Stella released herself from the hug and ran straight to Denis and hug him tightly.

"Have missed you so much"Stella said.

"Me too"Denis replied.

"Huh?"Denise asked confusedly.

"You didn't missed me but now you miss him"Denise said pointing her finger at Denis.

"Ohh don't be jealous"Denis teased.

"Jealous?who said am jealous?"Denise asked.

"It's written all over you Mrs Radio"Denis mocked her.

"Mrs Radio?"Stella laughed.

"Umm I'm just gonna pretend i didn't hear anything and just walk away"Denise scoff before she backed them.

"Ohh my sweet Denise,you look pretty"Stella said who already caught up with Denise.

"Are you mocking me now?"Denise asked.

"No way"Stella chuckled.

★(XAVIER APARTMENT)★

"Hey you sent for me??"Viper asked after walking inside Xavier apartment.

"Sit"Xavier commanded.

"What about us,any way I'm gonna sit"Diablo said and sat down including Brutus.

"What's wrong with you lately?,why have you been acting stupid this days?"Xavier asked.

"What are you talking about?"Viper asked with a confused look.

"You don't know what am talking about,I heard you tracked down Dean's family why aren't you taking action,ohh now i know you're acting like Father. That man was weak that was the reason he died,he wasn't even able to protect us Viper"Xavier yelled angrily.

"I'm not acting like Father"Viper muttered.

"Ohh yes you're,that man was weak,talks too much, friendly,sex addict and he has a pitiful mind and that's what you're doing"Xavier yelled.

" No am not Adrian"Viper said with gritted teeth.

"Then stop acting like him,I trained Viper not Mason,I know you will be stronger than me that's why i placed you in charge,act like Viper and not Mason. Dean didn't spare us,he used us,we were tortured,they didn't spare you guys either,Our parents was killed brutally in our eyes.Diablo killed Scavenger,Brutus killed Bullet, Deathstroke killed Whistler,Tiger killed Blade,Dean is the strongest amongst them that why it's been hard to kill him and now you got the chance you're gonna act like Mason and waste it. You're Viper the Fearless,Cold,Talk less and let his actions speaks for him, Doesn't find pleasure in sex that's what you are,All of you here"Xavier said in a roll without blinking.

"Now get lost all of you,seeing your faces alone is so annoying"Xavier said before lighting his cigarette.

Viper was the first to stand up. He was already boiling,he just wanted to live like every other person's but seems it's an offence to do so.

"So what are you gonna do?"Brutus asked.

"Kill them"Viper replied coldly,his face showed no expression,he's actually back to the old Viper they all knew.

"Tell them to get ready we're attacking them by midnight"Viper said.

"I should have expected that from you"Diablo said.

"Mom you're seriously gonna leave?"Stella asked.

"Yeah i have works but i would be returning by tomorrow midnight ok"Alexa assured them.

"Ok Aunty,don't worry i will be taking good care of her"Denise said smiling.

"I'm not a kid ok"Stella scoffed.

"Yes you're"Denise teased.

"Denis please take care of my princess for me"Alexa said.

"Huhh,snow man doesn't care about anybody"Denise grinned.

" Yes I do"Denis smiled.

"No you don't"Denise argued.

They were both arguing when the car horn,they all rushed out only to see Alexa on her car.

"Bye kids"Alexa said before she drove off.

"Byeeee"They all replied staring at the car till it was out of sight.

"I'm gonna prepare dinner"Denise ran to the kitchen.

Noises were being heard all over this house.

'What going on' Stella thought inwardly.

"Who's there?"She asked but got no response.

"Who's th......"

Some one touch her and she flinch before she ran to the switch turning it on just to see people surrounding her room pointing guns at her.

"What do you want from me?"Stella asked

"Just quietly move"Mika ordered.

She then immediately started walking to the living room only to find Denis and Denise down there,her eyes immediately scanned the room and she saw Alice she gasped.

"Now kneel"Mika ordered and she knelt down.

"What do you want from us"Denise asked.

"You"Brutus was the one who replied her.

"Huhhh?me? you must be crazy you think am afraid of you right"Denise yelled at Brutus.

Brutus walked to her,scanning her from head to toe before a smile crept to his face.

"You talk too much"Brutus replied smiling.

"What's amusing you,ohh do you think we're playing a show here?"Denise asked shooting Brutus a hard glare.

"Snow man why aren't you saying anything?"Denise asked.

"Snow man"Brutus laughed.

"Ohh shut it"Denise said and brutus frowned.

"Seems you aren't afraid of death?"Brutus asked.

"I'm not afraid of you or death or anyb....."

She was cut off by a bullet that flew past her,she gasped.Viper then walked towards them.

"Snow man save me"Denise ran to Denis back hiding herself while Brutus laughed. She hate to admit it but he does looks scary.

Stella gulps down nothing after noticing his face she shook her head. She was obviously doom.
