"Alora hi!" It was Leon.
"Hi! What are you doing here?" I asked. We're not close. I rejected him when he confessed but I can at least be nice to him.
"Ahm I'm actually on my way to Jade Mountain Beach Resort. I have a job interview there." He sounded embarrassed. His family suddenly went bankrupt and his father was currently in jail. Last I heard, he and his sister were kicked out of Golden Oak.
"Oh I see. Isn't it too far for you?" I asked. The resort is a few hours away from Northbay City but I think he wanted to work far from the criticism of the people around them.
"Sort of. But you know, it's kind of hard for us." He scratched his head and lowered down his gaze
