MIA'S POV

My eyes widened as his words left me shocked. I had not expected them. After everything, he just wanted this to be my punishment? Surely I had misjudged werewolves and the king my whole life. It wasn't my fault really when you are only shown one side of the picture.

“You can close your mouth now, Mia.” Dominic pointed out my hanging mouth at his words.

“Oh, that's all?” I was still shocked that he wanted nothing more.

“It's not all. I thought it would be a very hard task for you to complete. Considering your history, you have a tough time accepting feelings,” I blushed at his words. “But I know Christian as well. He wouldn't leave you with another option. I can count on him for that.” I knew Christian would be wearing his smug face at this moment.

“We'll see if he is as good as you claim him to be, Alpha Dominic.” I smirked, side glancing Christian. He didn't shy away from leaning closer till his lips touched my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.

MIA'S POVAs I delicately turned the worn pages of the Book of Enchantments, my eyes widened in disbelief. Each incantation revealed a darker secret, a more malevolent power than the last. The ancient script described spells that could rend the very fabric of reality, summon creatures from the shadows, and manipulate minds with a mere whisper. My heart quickened as I stumbled upon a page filled with vicious curses, each word practically dripping with malice. The realization struck me like a physical blow – this book, revered for its enchantments, was a weapon of unimaginable destruction. I traced the words with trembling fingers, grappling with the enormity of the responsibility that rested on my shoulders. The book wasn't a mere collection of charming spells; it was a compendium of power capable of unraveling destinies. The weight of its potential for chaos settled heavily upon me.The list of curses before me, capable of unraveling lives and plunging mankind into chaos. A spell tha

Mia’s Pov“Why? Excited, Fire?” I squealed as he dropped his pants, with his briefs. I instantly turned around, covering my eyes. “You don't have to be shy, Fire. It's all yours to claim anyway.” I heard him before something weird started to happen. I froze, the faint groans and unsettling sounds of bones shifting caught my attention. My heart quickened as I felt tempted to have a look. As the groans intensified, my curiosity overpowered any fear that threatened to take hold.I watched in awe and disbelief as Christian's body underwent a profound transformation. His form blurred, and the air seemed to ripple around him. Bones cracked and realigned. The groans became more pronounced, resonating through the air like a primal chorus.Suddenly, Christian stood on all fours, his sleek silver fur glistened in the daylight. His eyes, now a vibrant amber, locked onto mine with an untamed intensity. The once familiar human features were replaced by the majestic presence of a large wolf. I to

  • Enchanting Royalty   Chapter 28

Mia's PovI lied on the soft grass with Christian beside me, still in his wolf form. Although his weight was completely off me, he decided to rest his head on my stomach. Every few minutes he would bring his head up to my neck, take a few sniffs and lick it before resting his head back. I was enjoying the silent environment and the comfort I got with him. His body kept me warm and fuzzy with his fur all around. It was then that an idea crossed my mind. I had always wanted to take a dip in the lake. It was something very little, but had always been on my bucket list. I shifted and Christian raised his head at my movement, looking at me with curious eyes. Slowly crawling away from him, he let out a low growl of disapproval on missing my touch. Getting up to his feet, he started taking steps in my way when I stopped him right there. “Don't move.” He stilled at my words and I literally saw him frowning in his wolf form. It was honestly so cute to see him like that, when his appearance wa

MIA My breath hitched as his soft lips met mine. I trembled in his hold, not being able to make sense of my surroundings. It was just me and him and the water created soft ripples around us. Christian pulled me closer if it was even possible, plastering me to himself. A groan left his mouth as he nibbled and tugged on my lips, molding me into him. His hot, rough hands ran on my back, making my skin hot in the cold water. I turned into a mush in his hold, as he continued playing with my lips. This was the first time I had kissed anyone. It was hot, passionate, and full of desire. I gasped as I felt some hardness rubbing my stomach. I wasn't sure if it was what I thought it was. It surely had to be my imagination. It couldn't be so …..big. Christian took the opportunity to shove his tongue in my mouth and a torturous moan escaped my lips. I melted into his touch, feeling spark and shivers erupt everywhere. My mind was in a haze and I lost myself in his touch. He sucked on my lips lik

MIA “Balthazar used to go often to meet with someone important. I'm not sure what his name was, but I overheard him referring to someone as the Great Master. I'm not sure who he is, but by the sounds of it, it's like he is some elderly guy that Balthazar took important advice from.” Dominic narrowed his eyes at my response. Christian sat beside me while Arnold sat across from me. We were currently in the pack’s meeting room “Do you know where he used to go? Ever overheard him mentioning the place?” I thought hard about what Christian asked. Trying hard to search in my memory and come across anything like that. But much to my dismay, I didn't.“I'm afraid not. The only thing I remember is that whenever he used to go, he would come back from there at least a day or two later. So I guessed that wherever that place was, it was far enough for him to take so long to return. And for all I know, Balthazar would never leave willingly, having the coven unattended for even a few hours, let alo

MIA“She claims to call herself Sylvia.” My eyes narrowed as I thought I heard him wrong. Sylvia? What was she doing here? How did she get here in the first place? I got up from my seat and dashed out of the room. I heard everyone follow behind me, but I didn't care enough to turn back. I walked straight out of the pack house, into the pack grounds to see some of the warriors crowded around someone. That someone being Sylvia obviously. “Don't you dare move an inch from here, you witch.” One of the warriors warned her. “You know none of you stand a chance against me. One spell and all of you are done. Just let me see Mia. I come in peace, so you better make sure not to destroy it,” Sylvia, being her sassy self, told everyone off. And the warriors honestly looked shocked at the confidence she was oozing. Not once she gave away anything about feeling terrified, standing one against what looked like fourteen warriors. “Sylvia!” I called out, and all the heads turned towards me. Her eye

MIAA chilling shiver raced down my spine as the dreadful news echoed in my ears, leaving me paralyzed in a state of utter shock and disbelief. For a moment I thought I had misheard. But then she repeated it, clearing any confusion. “Alpha Mathews is your father, Mia.” I couldn't blink, my eyes were fixed on him, as he looked down at his hands in sadness. So he wasn't lying. Why, why was he sad? He didn't want me as his daughter? Why did he throw me away? Why? Why did he come back now? Where was he all those years if he knew I was his daughter. Why didn't he try to find me? “What are you saying, Sylvia? Do you even know—” “She's telling the truth. Like I said earlier, Cassandra was my mate. And you are a carbon copy of her.” Alpha Mathews cut me off as my world shattered. A tear escaped my eye, one that I didn't know was threatening to fall. So all this time, I had a family, a real one. And they knew who I was to them, but they didn't bother letting me know. Wow. I felt Christian’

MIA'S POVSylvia stood silent, looking at the ground in guilt. And that was enough to let me know the answer to my questions. She had misled me. Lied to me. “You knew didn't you? Yet you lied? Why?” My voice came out in a mere whisper. “Mia, I had no choice. Please you have to understand—” she sounded very guilty, as if begging me to listen to her. “Why? Why should I understand? You were the one who made me believe that it wasn't possible. If you were really on my side, you could have simply told me the truth!” I yelled at her. “Mia, I was scared. If Balthazar found out that you found your mate, it wouldn't have ended right.” Sylvia looked between Christian and me. “Oh, really now? Yet you pushed me into Christian's arms willingly that day. You knew he was my mate. You saw it. Yet you denied it. Do you even have any idea, the conflict I faced during this time? Christian's POVA year had passed since Mia and I stood before our pack, surrounded by family and friends, and pledged ourselves to each other. The memory of that day was as vivid as if it had happened yesterday, yet the time between then and now had been filled with more life and love than I could’ve ever imagined.I stood on the balcony of our suite in the packhouse, watching the early morning sun rise over the treetops. The territory was peaceful this time of day, the woods that bordered the pack lands bathed in golden light. The packhouse was bustling with activity on most days, but in the quiet hours of the morning, it was serene—almost like the calm before the storm.Inside, the sound of giggles filled the air, followed by Mia’s soft voice calling out to our pups. Alaric was always the first to wake, full of energy and mischief, while Sylvia took her time, blinking up at us with sleepy eyes, like she needed more convincing to start the day.I walked back inside, and there they w

Christian's POVThe last few months had been a blur of sleepless nights and the kind of love I never imagined existed. Holding my children, Alaric and Sylvia, in my arms, watching them grow stronger with each passing day, it was like discovering a new part of myself I didn’t know was there. But even amid the chaos of fatherhood, there was one thing that I couldn't stop thinking about—the wedding. Our wedding. After everything that had happened, from nearly losing Mia to the joy of becoming parents, I needed to make her mine in every way, just like I promised. To see her walk down the aisle, to vow my life to hers before the world and not just in the way of our kind but as man and wife, before humans and every species alike. It was important to me. I wanted everyone to know that she was my everything.Planning a wedding, while also taking care of two pups, wasn’t easy, but I had a lot of help. Julia and Anastasia were incredible, practically organizing everything while Mia focused on h

  • Enchanting Royalty   Chapter 95

Christian’s PovThe sterile smell of the hospital room filled the air as I stood by Mia’s side, gripping her hand tightly. My heart pounded in my chest as the doctors prepared for the surgery, and I made sure everything was set exactly as it needed to be. I had insisted on a female doctor and healer for Mia, knowing how important it was for her to feel comfortable during this delicate time. But no matter how many precautions I took, I couldn’t shake the fear clawing at my insides.Mia’s gaze flickered to mine, her eyes wide with anxiety, but I leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, trying to give her some semblance of reassurance. “I’m right here, baby. I won’t leave your side. We’ll get through this together.”The room bustled with quiet urgency, the healers whispering to each other as they prepared the tools, but all I could focus on was Mia. Her face was pale, but her grip on my hand never faltered. The doctor, a calm and steady woman named Dr. Alina, approached Mia’s s

Christian’s PovAs the tension in the room finally began to ease, I wiped the remnants of tears from my face, still holding Mia’s hand like a lifeline. Her breathing had stabilized, though she still looked pale and exhausted. The doctors had done everything they could, but seeing her so fragile made my chest tighten all over again. The door creaked open softly, and I looked up to see Julia, Anastasia, and Alpha Dominic enter. Their faces were lined with concern, especially Julia, whose eyes immediately darted to Mia.“She’s okay,” I whispered, barely able to hold it together. “She’s… she’s going to be okay.”Julia rushed over to Mia’s bedside, her expression softening with relief. “Thank the moon goddess,” she breathed, reaching down to stroke Mia’s hair gently.Anastasia stood behind her, nodding in agreement but still looking concerned. Alpha Dominic’s imposing figure lingered by the door for a moment before stepping closer, his eyes trained on Mia’s still figure.“She’s strong, Chr

Christian’s PovThe second those lines on the heart monitor went straight, my world stopped. No. No, no, no. This couldn’t be happening.“Mia!” I screamed, my voice cracking as I lurched forward. The doctors were swarming around her, shouting orders and moving in a blur. Everything felt distant, muffled, like I was underwater, and the only thing I could hear clearly was that relentless, high-pitched whine from the machine that told me her heart had stopped. Her heart had stopped. My mate, my Mia, was slipping away, and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do.I surged toward the bed, grabbing the nearest doctor by the collar, yanking him back with all the strength I had left in me. “Do something!” I snarled, my voice barely human. “Save her!”“We’re trying!” The doctor’s voice trembled, fear flickering in his eyes as he tried to pry himself free from my grip. But I didn’t let go. I couldn’t. If I let go, it felt like I was admitting defeat. Like I was letting her go.The room spun arou

  • Enchanting Royalty   Chapter 92

Mia’s PovI found myself standing in a place I couldn’t recognize—an endless expanse of white, serene and calm. The air felt cool, not like the sterile cold of a hospital room, but something softer, almost comforting. It was quiet, too quiet, but I felt no fear. Instead, there was an overwhelming sense of peace, like I had walked into another world where the troubles of reality couldn’t touch me.I took a step forward, my bare feet sinking slightly into the soft ground that didn’t seem to exist yet held me all the same. My heart felt lighter, the pain I had experienced moments ago in my body now a distant memory. As I moved through this space, something in the distance caught my eye—a garden, vivid and lush, teeming with colorful flowers that seemed too perfect to be real. Drawn to it, I walked without hesitation, my heart inexplicably pulling me toward the scene. At the far end of the garden, I saw a figure kneeling among the flowers, her hands delicately plucking the petals of a blo

Author’s PovMia’s world dissolved into a swirl of chaos and darkness. Her body, though fainted and still in the hospital bed, was trapped within the depths of a vivid, horrifying memory. It played out before her eyes like a movie—too real, too painful. She was no longer the adult Mia. Instead, she felt herself small, fragile, and terrified—a four-year-old child once again. The air was thick with the acrid smell of smoke and the deafening sounds of cries. She stood in the corner of her childhood home—her pack, her tiny frame trembling as she clutched her knees to her chest. Flames licked the edges of the walls, and the screams of her pack members echoed around her. They were dying. She could hear it—shouts, cries, the horrifying crackle of fire devouring everything in its path.Little Mia bawled, tears streaming down her face as she watched people—people she knew—falling to the ground. Her tiny body was shaking, her heart racing in terror. She felt helpless, too scared to move. The de

Author’s Pov4 Months LaterThe sun bathed the garden in a golden glow, casting soft shadows over the blooming roses and perfectly trimmed hedges. Mia sat comfortably between Ana and Julia, her hands resting on her swollen belly as they enjoyed their afternoon tea. It had been months since the ceremony, and with each passing day, the anticipation of the baby’s arrival grew stronger. They laughed, their conversation carefree as Ana excitedly showed Mia a variety of tiny gifts she had bought for the baby—soft blankets, little shoes, and a beautifully carved wooden rattle.Mia smiled warmly, feeling the gentle kicks of life inside her. The baby wasn’t due for another month, and despite the natural aches and discomforts of pregnancy, she had felt relatively good. "Look at this," Ana beamed, holding up a little onesie with "Beta in Training" stitched across the front. "Isn’t it adorable? He’s going to look so cute in this!"Mia laughed softly, touching the fabric. "It’s perfect. Thank you

Mia’s PovThe moment Dominic disappeared, leaving behind an awkward silence, the royal music began to play—filling the grand hall with a soft, majestic melody. It was as if the music had been timed perfectly to diffuse the tension in the air, giving everyone an excuse to focus on something else. The elegant chords of violins and the regal notes of flutes swept through the room, calming the uneasy murmurs that had begun.Christian turned to me, his smile softening the moment. “Dance with me?” he asked, his voice low and inviting, one hand outstretched toward me.Despite everything, I couldn’t help the smile that crept onto my face. “I’d love to.”I placed my hand in his, and he guided me effortlessly to the center of the dance floor, where other couples had already begun to pair off, the royal rhythm guiding their movements.
