The Dragons

The day was dim.

The Bulteo’s soldiers couldn’t hide their wretched expressions in the dark sky. Somehow, this darkness increased tenfold as the sun slowly faded away and the earth rolled to the side.

“... it’s already dark, Your Majesty Ferdinand,” Vilfredo said quietly.

“Shit!” Freddie was rendered restless.

They had complicated feelings. Due to the heavy flowers swallowing the whole sky, no flight could take place. And also due to the flowers covering the path of each entrance including the windows, no one dared to expose themselves to the literal threat.

Someone legit had died after inhaling the petal or being excessively cut from seemingly harmless flowers. So far, there were only two deaths even though they are doing nothing.

It pricked the dragons' egos. Thankfully, those who died weren’t Dragonoid, instead were from an elf tribe. It was an unfortunate event that they would remember till their last breath.
