Kara ended up being escorted by Wan after showing her appreciation toward the man. Priscilla towed behind them per Shadow’s command to help Kara to change or do whatever she should do. Also to not catch any gossip from anyone.

This was her office but the gossipy nature was pretty much here as well.

Even if Shadow tried to prevent it, there was nothing she could do if they talked behind her back. It’s not that she could fire everyone.

In the office room, Malikul was hugging Shadow while sitting on the sofa while Midas sat at the opposite side and facing them with a natural face.

He had seen enough to react anyway. It would be a waste of his emotions.

“So… tell me.” Shadow started. “Tell me you have something for me.”

Midas scratched his head. “I don’t know what to tell you, Lord,” he said, kneading his eyes. “It’s supposed to be Albus. He did this. He’s the thief.”
