*Princess Ana Mae's Pov;*

"I just hope we're not going to encounter your evil cousin your highness," Leana mumbled after we finished preparing ourselves for school. Today is our first day in this University and I just hope that everything will turn out well.

"How I wish the Gods would listen to your plea Leana," I answered. I'm not afraid of Amira but I just don't wanna start a war early in the morning and especially that it's our first day in class. That would be terrible!

"Surely they will," she said in an almost whisper tone. I wasn't able to hear her words properly because she's standing near the door of our room while I'm fixing my bed before we leave for our first class.

"What did you say?" I asked while arranging my pillows. She just shrugged her shoulders as if telling me that it was nothing.

"Gosh! You're starting to be creepy Lean. Don't you know that?" I joked.

She then smirked at me before answering, "Having Amira as your cousin is surely the creepiest thing you will ever imagine!"

We both laugh with what she said. If only Amira could hear us, I'm a hundred percent sure that she will freak out.

"You're crazy! We better hurry before our prof went mad over us!" I told her.

"You're right! We don't want to get some disciplinary actions on our first day of school, don't we?" We both laugh hard then she took her favorite book from her bag. As usual she's reading while we're on our way to our classroom. Having Leana by my side is really amazing. She's not just a servant to me, because she's more like a sister and bestfriend.

We were halfway to our classroom when we heard noises. Some were shouting like they have seen something that made their hearts go wild.

"What do you think is going on here?" I asked Leana who's currently reading her book. Geeez , her addiction to books is something I can't really understand.

"I don't know your highness," she answered still focusing on the book she's reading.

"Oh really Leana? We're in the middle of this hallway and about to be late for our first class, yet here you are reading while walking?" I said as if telling her that she's really unbelievable.

"I'm sorry your highness," she apologized before returning the book inside her bag.

I just smirked at her and was about to check on the reason why the crowd suddenly go wild, when someone bumped into me.

"Ouch!" I yelped and tried to check my left shoulder if it's still in it's proper place. The impact was so damn strong that I thought I'd lost it.

"Your highness are you okay?" Leana asked worriedly. She check my left shoulders as well.

"You! Who do you think you are to disrespect the princess of Citrine?" she yelled at the guy who bumped at me. The crowd gasp after hearing what Leana said.

"She's the princess of Citrine?" I heard someone whispered.

"Well, young lady it's not my intention to bump into your princess," the guy answered. His voice is so manly and it sent shivers to my spine. And for some unknown reasons, it sounded like a beautiful melody to my ears. This is not right! I should not be feeling this way towards a stranger.

"Well mister, whether it's your intention or not but atleast apologize to her! Don't you have manners?" Leana shouted angrily.

I look up to see the face of the arrogant guy who have the nerve to bump into a princess like me. But I was literally lost when our eyes met. It feels like I'm seeing millions of stars in his dark blue eyes. His shoulder length gray hair were like ashes dancing with the wind. And his perfect jawline, pointed nose and masculine body made him look like a God who have just descended from the Heaven Realm.

"What's wrong your highness? Are you hurt?" Leana asked worriedly, she probably noticed that I spaced out.

"Well, I guess your princess fall for my handsome prince," the tall guy behind the gray haired guy spoke. Leana was suddenly pissed with his answer.

"You shut up! I'm not talking to you rust haired guy!" she yelled at him. The guy was about to attack her but the gray haired guy stopped him. He's probably pissed with what Leana said. But did he just said prince? So this gray haired jerk guy is a prince?

"Look ladies! Today is our first day here so we're very sorry if we cause you trouble. We are both tired and we need some rest, we had a long journey. We're sorry!" he apologized politely. Well, this gray haired guy is not as arrogant as I thought. He obviously knows how to apologize for his mistake.

"Sorry? You almost rip my princess's left shoulder! Do you think your sorry will compensate the pain you have caused her?" The two guys went silent for awhile. It makes me think that they really want to kick Leana for being so loud but something is stopping them. And that made me confuse.

"Leana it's fine. I'm not hurt, my shoulder is still fine. We better hurry we have a class to attend to, remember?" I reminded her.

"Oh my! Let's go your highness! These jerks wasted so much of our time!" Then she grabbed my wrist and we both run towards the direction of our classroom, leaving the two guys behind us with curiosity in their faces.

We were both panting when we reach our classroom. The eyes of our professor automatically caught us. She looks so angry!

"Good morning ma'am!" we greeted in unison.

"I really think you are both aware with your daily class schedules. And you do know that you are 25 minutes late for your first subject, don't you?" she asked raising her brows. We both nodded in response and wasn't able to say a single word.

"Who among the two of you is the princess of Citrine?" she asked. I slowly raised my hand then she started to scan me from head to toe.

"Rules in the palace does not apply here your highness. Yes you are a princess but in my class I am your superior! And as your superior you have to follow my rules. Did you understand Princess Ana Mae Villashne?"

I was literally shy with what she said, especially when I saw my classmates whispering like bees. Well, they're probably thinking that I'm a brat princess. But it wasn't my fault, it was not my intention to be late. It was that gray haired guy who caused this!

"But it was not our intention to be late! Something happened while we were on our way here!" Leana protested. I noticed how the face of our professor started to look more angry.

"Leana, stop!" I whispered trying to stop her. Our explanation won't matter anymore.

"We are very sorry for being late ma'am. We promise this won't happen again," I apologized to our professor. She then smiled at me but I'm sure it's a fake one.

"Make sure of it princess! You may now take your seats," she ordered. Finally, I really thought that she will punish us but good thing she did not!

*First Person's POV* Just as when I was about to blame myself, Leanna spoke, "No madame! The Gods did not sacrifice all of you!" The woman diverted her gaze to her. "And how did you know?" she asked while raising her left brow. "Because I'm one of the servants of the Gods. I am the guardian of the chosen one, and I know the whole story," Leanna stated while the woman stared at her with wide eyes. "So you're one of their accomplices? And you planned all of this just to know our whereabouts and sacrifice our lives once again? I really can't believe that the Gods could be that selfish! "No! I just want you to know the truth!" "We already know what the truth is!" the woman insisted."When we met the dark immortals earlier they told us that the reason why you hid yourselves down here, is that you are all selfish. But I did not believe them, because I don't want to judge someone without even knowing the truth. I just hope you will do the same with the God

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 44;

First Person's POV; "ZION!" I heard Diane screaming Zion's name. She must've been worried about him but the big question in my mind right now is, why would Zion risk his life to protect me? I stared at his eyes but still I could not see any emotion from it. He's still as cold as ice. "Your highness ,you better not forget our mission. Don't be so careless, or you might get yourself killed," Stefan said and Zion automatically let go of me. It's as if he was burned or something. "Are you okay Ana?" Diane asked as she hurriedly run towards me. Lyndon and Leanna did the same thing and they started checking if I got wounds or bruises. "I'm fine guys, you don't have to worry about me," I told them with a smile. The three of them stared at Zion with confusions written all over their faces. They were probably thinking on why the hell would Zion save my life, when he's obviously one of our enemies wishing for my death. Well, I wonder the same thing though. Maybe it

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 43

*First Person's Pov*Our journey to the North side of the forest lasted for two dark days. We were all exhausted when we reach the pear plantation. The place was serene and just like the other side of the forest, we did not see even a single animal walking around. All we could see through the tiny light of the moon are tall pear trees with fruits shining as it's touched by the moonlight."How are we going to find the white oracles here? All that's here are pear trees," Diane said frustratingly."Haven't you heard what Leanna told us before we came here? Pears are what the white oracles eat. So I'm pretty sure we're going to find one here!" Lyndon told Diane with a glare. I can't believe these two are starting to have their quarrels again."Guys please just be quite. We're not trying to let them know we're here and run off, aren't we?" I hushed them out."Sorry Ana, it just that there's some grinch over here!" Diane rolled her eyes at Lyndon."So you dare to say that I'm a grinch?

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 42;

*First Person's POV*Just by looking into his eyes I realised how much I've longed for him. And in a split second I found myself drowning in the valley of his gaze as I danced with the rhythm of my heart. I don't need a love like Romeo and Juliet's, nor of Edward and Bella. What I want is a unique and pure love whom I can call my own."Zion," I mumbled as the wind gently blows, touching his face. He stared at me emotionless, it's as if he doesn't even know who I am. How come? I thought our love was unforgettable. But it seems like I'm the only one who thinks that way."Oh my dear cousin." I was pulled out from my fantasies when I heard my cousin's voice."Amira? What are you doing here?" I asked her in disbelief. Don't tell me, that she and Zion came here together? My questions were answered when she clung to Zion's arms and smirked at me."Oh my dear cousin, it seems like you have fallen in love with someone you don't know," she told me with a smirk."What are you talking about

*Third Person's POV*"That chosen one is starting to piss me off!" Velion shouted angrily after receiving the news from the raven he sent to follow Princess Ana Mae."I did not know that they could easily know the secret on how to defeat those spirit knights," Amira said in disbelief. Velion stared at her angrily and she nervously swallowed the lump in her throat."And you! You're a coward! You should've fought with her instead of leaving those spirit knights alone!" he yelled at her. "You could've defeated her since I have given you a lot of powers. But you're still useless!""I'm sorry my king, I promise to do my job better next time. Just please don't punish me," she begged. She's too scared to be killed. She don't want to die without avenging her mom. Besides, all her efforts would be in vain if Velion would kill her now."Surely you will. Because if you fail this time, I will kill you without having a second thought," he warned her. "I promise my king, just tell me what you wan

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 40

*First Person's POV* The woods were covered with darkness and just like when we first entered this forest, we did not see even a single animal. Not even a chirp from a bird could be heard. "It's getting creepier in here," Diane whispered to me while biting her nail. It's some kind of mannerism for her whenever she fell nervous. "I know but we still have to travel to the North part of this forest. We need to find the white oracles as soon as possible," I told her. And with the tiny light from the moon, I saw her pout. "Yeah but don't you think we need to rest a bit? Those dark spirit knights drained all my strength," she complained which made me chuckle. "I think you're right. After all we're all exhausted after that intense fight ,we all deserve to rest," I agreed with her. "Let's look for a safe place to camp," Lyndon suggested. We all agreed and look for a safe place to stay. Leanna walked farther from us so she could check if the area is safe.
