Chapter 34;

(Princess Ana Mae's Pov;)

After eating the delicious breakfast prepared by my mom, me and my friends headed to the training room for our training with aunt Athena.

"The battlefield is not a place to play around, it's a place were you would fight for your life and for your comrades. It is not a place where you could smell the sweet scent of flowers but the place covered with the smell of blood. You will not hear a bird's chirp but your ears will be covered by agonies and crys for help. It is a paradise for those who are strong but a living hell for those who are weak," Aunt Athena explained to us. She waved her hand and in a split second, we found ourselves dressed in golden armours.

"Wow! We're like heavenly soldiers! The one I saw on movies!" Diane exclaimed making Lyndon laugh.

"Here you go again with your movies," Lyndon mocked her.

"You idiot erotic Prince!" Diane glared at him while I just stared at them trying to hide my laughter.

"Focus on your training! Like I said earlier, the battlefield is not a place to play around," aunt Athena reminded them to stop them from fighting.

Diane glared at Lyndon for the last time before she focused on our training.

Aunt Athena waved her hands again and weapons of different kinds appeared infront of us. There are bows and arrows, swords and some weapons that I'm not familiar with.

"These are heavenly weapons created by the God of fire and blacksmith himself, the one and only Hephaestus."

I was even more amazed to fined out that my father created all of these weapons.

"Wow! You're dad's a genius Ana Mae!" Diane said that made me proud.

"All the weapons in the heaven realm are created by your father Ana," Aunt Athena told me. "Every God has their own unique talent same with humans. Whether you're a deity or just a normal mortal, you could still contribute something to make the world better," she added.

"Now, step forward to choose your weapon," she instructed us.

Lyndon was the first one to choose his weapon. He chose a silver sword with crystals on it's sides.

"Wow! It looks like it's freezing!" I exclaimed.

"Raise it above your head," aunt Athena told him. He did what she told him to do and to our surprise the sword glow in his hands. His golden armour was changed into a white one with a touch of blue.

"Amazing!" Diane screamed before she stepped forward to choose her weapon as well.

She chose a golden bow and arrow. And just like what Lyndon did, she raised it above her head and a red light appeared. The bow and arrow was no longer gold ,they were changed to red. And Diane's armour turned red as well.

Soon, it was my turn to choose my weapon. I'm nervous but I know I shouldn't feel that way. It's just a matter of choosing my weapon, why would I be so nervous about it?

I stepped forward and stared at the weapons in front of me. I don't know how to use them all so I don't know what to choose.

While I was scanning all the weapons, a golden sword with rubies on it's handle caught my attention. I stepped closer to it and to my surprise it flew right above my head and glowed brightly. It's light was a mixture of gold and red. And when I looked at my golden armour, I was shocked to see that it already have some rubies in it.

"Woah!" Diane and Lyndon uttered in disbelief.

"It seems like you have proven that you are really the chosen one," aunt Athena said proudly.

"Now, for your first lesson you must learn that a weapon is nothing without the soul of it's owner. Think of it as part of your body and transfer a part of your soul to it," she told us. "Close your eyes and feel your weapon."

We did what she told us, we slowly closed our eyes and I think about my weapon.

In a split second, I found myself walking in a land covered with rubies. I walked around and was shocked to see a big ruby floating in the air. I ran towards it and stared as it glow like an ember.

"This must be the ember of love!" I exclaimed.

"You're right Princess," an unfamiliar voice suddenly spoke.

"Who are you?"

"I am the ember of love waiting to be flourished by you. When you learn how to turn that ember into a blazing flame of affection then you could easily defeat Velion," she told me.

"But how?" I really have no idea on how to use that ember of love.

"It's all up to you. Remember to listen to your heart and everything will go according to how destiny planned it to be." Those were the last words I heard from her before I opened my eyes to see the worried faces of my friends and aunt Athena.

"It's a good thing you finally wake up, cause we were about to take you to the healers," aunt Athena said worriedly.

"I passed out?"

"Yes you did! And we were worried sick about you," Diane told me.

I stood up and thought of what I saw there.

"I think I saw the ember of love," I said to them.

"You did?" Lyndon asked in a surprised tone.

"Yes, and she told me to follow my heart and everything will go according to how destiny planned."

"What else did it say?" aunt Athena asked trying to figure out something.

"Nothing more, I woke up before I could even ask her for more."

"Well, it's not bad after all. At least the ember is finally reaching out to you. It's a good sign!" Aunt Athena said happily.

But to my surprise ,I wasn't feeling happy. Instead I feel so nervous. Not for my life but for my friends and family. I know this is not an easy task but I have to trust myself. I won't let something bad happen to the people I love. I will train hard and change this nervousness into courage!
