Chapter 33;

After a long night of longing Princess Ana decided to walk around the garden when she wakes up the next day.

The flowers here are quite different from those growing in the garden of Citrine but they still give her the same feels. Ever since she was young, she enjoys the company of flowers so much. She felt relaxed whenever she's surrounded by them.

"Flowers always have a way to comfort a weary heart." She heard someone spoke behind her. She turned around to be met by a beautiful lady with long and curly hair. She's wearing a beautiful smile.

"Who are you?" She asked. She did not see her with the Gods when she and her friends arrived yesterday.

The beautiful lady chuckled and as if on cue, the wind blows to her direction making her emerald green dress dance with her hair. The flowers seem to be dancing as well.

"Sorry for my rudeness, I am Persephone, your cousin."

Ana Mae stared at her with wide eyes. She can't believe she's standing infront of the Goddess of Spring and that she's talking to her right now.

She was about to bow her head but Persephone stopped her.

"Silly child, you're also a Goddess so why did you have to bow down to me?" she told her.

"But, you're the Goddess of Spring and the queen of the underworld..." Persephone cut her words off.

"And you're the chosen one. We both have titles so there's no need for you to be formal to me," she said that made Ana Mae more amazed with her.

She's a very down to earth Goddess and it makes her look even more beautiful.

She's dying to ask her about the story she read about how the four seasons started when she was abducted by Hades but she felt ashamed.

"You want to know my story?" Persephone asked as if she already know what she's thinking.

"I'm sorry but I was just curious," Ana Mae answered shyly.

Persephone chuckled then she carefully sat on the bench. She motioned her to sit with her that she eventually did.

"You know, when I was abducted by Hades I hated him so much. Especially when he tricked me by eating enchanted pomegranate seeds so that I would stay with him for a portion of the year. They believed him to be evil and cunning, but during my stay with him I saw a different side of the God of the Underworld whom everyone feared. He showed me genuine love and that made me open up my heart for him as well. Not all born to be evil are heartless. Sometimes they're just waiting to be appreciated and loved because actually they also have feelings," she explained that made Princess Ana Mae happy. There's still a chance to change Velion and save the world without bloodshed. She'll find a way to learn about the ember of love and let it grow in his heart.

"You have an amazing story," Princess Ana said with a smile.

"We all have our own amazing stories my dear. Especially you! Because you might have a tough destiny ahead but believe me you can turn it into a beautiful one," Persephone said to her before she disappeared.

"Wait!" she tried to stop her but she already disappeared.

"She went back to the underworld, it's not yet time for spring," she heard her mom's voice. She excitedly turn around to see her.

"Mom," she called with her eyes sparkling.

"It feels so good to hear you calling me that." Aphrodite smiled and walked closer to her.

"And it feels so good to be your daughter," Princess Ana answered and they both chuckle.

"But it feels much better if you would call me brother." They both stared at the man who spoke. It was Eros standing infront of them with his lips pouting that made him look cute.

"Of course brother," Ana Mae said then she ran towards him to give him a hug.

"Oh my cute little sister. You're as amazing as me," he said then he winked at her.

"That's all because you have an amazing and beautiful mother," Aphrodite said proudly that made them all laugh.

They were happy teasing each other without being aware that Zeus was standing behind the myrtle tree silently watching them.

He couldn't hide his happiness while looking at his daughter Aphrodite who's happily talking with her kids. After years of longing she's finally with her daughter now.

"I will do anything to let that smile stay with you my dear daughter," he promised.

"It's good to see the three of you enjoying your time together," he said when he finally showed himself to them.

"Yes father, I feel so happy to be reunited with my long lost daughter," Aphrodite said with a smile.

"And I feel so happy to see you smiling," Zeus told her.

"Grandpa, you will not believe who came here to visit my sister," Eros said that made Ana Mae stared at him in shock.

"I did not tell you anything yet, how did you know?" she asked him.

Zeus , Aphrodite and Eros stared at each other and smiled.

"My dear sister, I am not just your handsome brother. Because I am your guardian as well. Whether it's in mortal or immortal world I would silently guard you 24/7 to keep you safe. That's why I know who visited you today," Eros explained.

"So I don't get any privacy over these past few years?" Ana Mae pouted.

"I'm afraid to disappoint you my dear sister, but you're right," he answered and messed her hair using his hands.

"So who came here to visit my beautiful grandchild?" Zeus excitedly asked.

"It was Persephone grandpa. It's not yet time for spring but she came here to see my sister," Eros answered while smiling.

"She's a sweet child, I'm pretty sure she felt excited to see her cousin that she could not stop herself from leaving the underworld."

"She's as sweet as Demeter, father," Aphrodite added.

"She told me about her story and I felt comfortable with her," Princess Ana said that made everyone happy.

"I'm glad you're getting along well with your cousins. But for now, the breakfast table and your friends are waiting for you," Zeus told her.

"Oh! I almost forgot about breakfast!" she exclaimed making everyone laugh.

"Silly girl, mom cooked all the foods that you used to eat in the mortal world. And I'm pretty sure you'll love them," Eros said and winked at his sister.

"Really mom?" Ana Mae excitedly asked her mom. Aphrodite just nodded at her and smiled.

"Now you know you have the sweetest mother," Zeus teased her.

"And the most handsome brother," Eros added and they all burst into laughter.

Princess Ana felt delighted to be with her family. All her life she believed she's the only child of her parents but now she found out that she has a handsome and funny older brother who always stay beside her for her protection.
