Seething, Anna-Marie stormed out of their presence, mumbling inaudible words to herself until she was out of sight. Eleonora realized that she had been holding Leo all this while and quickly let go, lowering her head as he turned to face her.

“She asked you not to come back in here, didn't she?” His voice echoed, sending chills down her spine. She struggled to find her words, her eyes wandering nervously.

“I hate it when I have to repeat myself.” He almost yelled, getting irritated and she startled.

“Then why did you disobey her?”
