It's been a week, and Dixon had kept up with his cold attitude; he no longer checked up on me, he had his meal separately even in his room, he barely had a good conversation with me and worse still, he avoided me as we act like strangers

"Baby E," Jolly called my name, placed a food on the table, I gave a heavy sigh.

"I'm not hungry today," I said bitterly, stood before a mirror, glanced at my growing belly. Things seemed bitter lately and bored without Dixon's nonchalant attitude lately. I could not explain to Jolly what transpired between us in the woods, only the attack which they heard of while waiting for us that day.

“You've not eaten anything since yesterday, you're growing lean. Don't suffocate the pups," she responded, sat on the bed
