MARIANNE

"You have changed so much," Troy murmured softly as we continued to sway slowly to the soothing rhythm of the music, his hand warm against my back.

I raised my brows, feigning amusement. "I have?"

He nodded, his gaze steady and knowing. "Yes. After you regained your memories, you were brimming with so much hate and anger. I could tell you tried to keep it hidden, but it still surfaced many times."

I sighed deeply, letting the weight of the past hang between us for a moment. "I can't deny it," I admitted. "I was furious. The people I trusted most betrayed me in the worst possible ways. But now... all those bitter feelings have faded away. It’s like they no longer hold any power over me."

Troy nodded thoughtfully, a hint of admiration in his eyes. "Yeah, I can see that."

I felt a small, private smile tug at my lips, my heart stirring with a thought I could barely voice. "How do I tell you, Troy, that my heart has no more room for hate because it’s filled entirely wi

MARIANNE Troy's lips brushed against mine gently at first, then he deepened the kiss, parting my mouth with his tongue. A soft moan escaped me as I closed my eyes, surrendering to the warmth of his touch. He sucked on my lower lip, threading his fingers through my hair, tugging gently before letting his hand trail down to the neckline of my dress. His fingers slipped beneath the fabric, cupping my breast and brushing his thumb over my nipple, igniting a fire beneath my skin. Releasing my hair, his hand slid down, finding the slit in my dress and moving higher along my thigh until his fingers traced the edge of my g-string, teasing me with his touch. He paused, holding my gaze as he shrugged off his jacket, quickly removing his shirt and pants, leaving him clad only in his briefs. With a steady grip, he lifted me, settling me onto the bathroom counter, my back pressed against the mirror’s cool surface. Slowly, he reached for my panties, sliding them down with deliberate slownes

  • EX-WIFE'S REVENGE   DAY OF RECKONING

MARIANNE "No, I object to your buying a new car." Troy held his ground, his voice firm, and I scoffed, raising an eyebrow. The day before had been nothing short of amazing, all thanks to him. Our date had stretched well into the night. We left the hotel late, drove around town under the city lights, went for a moonlit stroll, and shared ice cream like carefree teenagers, laughing and teasing each other. Eventually, we ended up spending the night in one of my houses in the city and returned to my apartment on the outskirts in the early morning, feeling closer than ever. The memory of those blissful hours stayed with me, and I couldn’t help but smile. But recalling how difficult it had been for me while Troy was away, I’d decided that morning to get myself a new car, just for the times he wasn’t around. However, he was clearly not having it. "But why?" I asked him for the umpteenth time, exasperation creeping into my voice. He hesitated, glancing away for a moment, before fin

  • EX-WIFE'S REVENGE   WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

MARIANNE The policemen at the door barged into the house at this moment, and Mildred quickly came forward. Britney's eyes were wide with shock, while Sharon folded her arms, watching the scene quietly, her expression unreadable. Realizing that Mildred was not a ghost as he had thought, Tony suddenly yelled, "What are you all doing in my house? Get out, or else I'll sue you all!" I scoffed, "Your house? Are you certain that this house belongs to you?" Tony gulped, a hint of fear flashing across his face, while Mildred pointed both hands at him, her voice filled with fury as she spat, "That is the man who tried to kill me. He threw me down the stairs and carried my unconscious body to the river, tossing it in so I would die a horrible death, my body never to be discovered." Both his wife, Britney, and his mistress, Maya, were present when he threw me down the stairs." Despite the AC in the house, beads of sweat began to form on Tony's face, a visible testament to his guilt.

MARIANNE "And who the hell are you?" one of the policemen demanded, eyeing Sharon. "Obviously Tony's mistress, Maya," Mildred replied with a sneer. I pressed my lips together, trying not to laugh as Sharon, showing a mix of fear and desperation, blurted out, "No, I’m not his mistress! I’m his maid. He’s a very good man and not capable of doing anything wrong." The policemen, unfazed, finished cuffing Tony before turning their attention to Sharon. "Whether his mistress or maid, were you here the day Mildred was pushed down the stairs?" one of them questioned. Sharon gulped, "Um...well..." "Go on, tell us. Did Tony push Mildred down the stairs?" the policeman pressed, his tone insistent. "It doesn’t matter," I cut in smoothly. "I have the video of Tony throwing Mildred into the river, which is more than enough. Take him away." As Tony struggled against his captors, Britney burst into tears, and Sharon ran after him, crying, "Don’t take him away... I promise you, Tony, I’ll get i

  • EX-WIFE'S REVENGE   WHO DID THIS TO HIM?

SHARON As I watched my boss grasp Mr. Stanford's hand, pulling him away, a lump formed in my throat. It was only the second time I’d seen him, yet my heart wouldn't stop racing. I sighed, feeling an unfamiliar sadness. I’d never been one to care about love or attachment, so finding myself drawn to someone like this felt surreal. If only I could have a taste of him, just once. But he was forbidden. Not only that, he was one of the rare men who barely spared me a glance, his eyes always fixed on his wife. Still, I couldn’t completely let go of the hope. Maybe one day they would part ways. Maybe fate would give me a chance to make him mine, even if just for a fleeting moment. The sound of Britney retching jolted me from my thoughts. Turning, I saw her vomiting on the floor. Annoyed, I snapped, kicking her in the stomach, “You pig! Why are you messing the floor when you know you cannot clean it?" Leaving her behind, I headed to Tony’s room. After a thorough search, I found h

SHARON After leaving my lawyer friend, I returned home, heart pounding with anticipation. I quickly went up to Tony's bedroom, where I had carefully hidden his phone earlier. With a deep breath, I entered the account password he had given me, my fingers steady as I gained the access I needed.Without hesitation, I transferred every last dollar from his account into mine, and in a matter of seconds, I was the owner of over a hundred million dollars. I let out a small laugh, the thrill rushing through me."It's time to splurge!" I announced to the empty room. Grabbing my card, I headed out of the house, my mind already racing with plans for the day.I'd once promised myself that if I ever made a fortune, I would indulge in a shopping spree like no other, diving into every luxury I had ever craved, if only for a short while. Today was that day.As I made my way through the upscale boutiques, I briefly thought about my brother. I wished he could be here, enjoying this windfall with me. B

  • EX-WIFE'S REVENGE   AS IT SHOULD BE

SHARONJust as Britney got close enough to strike, I swiftly kicked her hand, sending the knife clattering to the floor. She tried to punch me, but I sidestepped with ease, spinning around to deliver a powerful kick to her back. She stumbled forward, her body crashing down, and I watched with a smirk as she fell flat on her face, quite literally. As she groaned in pain, clutching her nose, I calmly crouched beside her, picking up the knife with a bemused expression. I shook my head, clicking my tongue in mock disappointment. “Tsk, tsk, tsk. What a fool you are, Britney.”Her glare was fierce, but I could see the panic flickering in her eyes. She was realizing how thoroughly she had underestimated me.“Did you really think I would be careless enough to leave a weapon within your reach if I didn’t have a plan of my own? After your first mistake, I’d hoped you would have learned. But then you made a second error by attacking me instead of running for the door. Not that you would have go

SHARON "She definitely can't," I replied. "Although, she did yell that she was going to kill me before her voice finally gave out." "Good for her. So, what's the progress with Tony?" she inquired. I smiled. "Well, I've successfully transferred all the money in his account into mine. It's quite a large sum—over a hundred million dollars. That's way more than what you're paying me. Are you sure you want me to keep all of it?" "Why? Don't you want it?" she retorted. I chuckled, my heart racing at the thought of losing all that money. "Saying I want this money is an understatement, ma'am. I just wanted to make sure you're aware of everything, so there wouldn't be any surprises for you down the line." "It's fine," she replied smoothly. "I've already recovered the company funds he stashed in his offshore accounts. The money you have is nothing to me. Besides, you've earned it after working so hard." "Thank you, thank you so much, ma'am," I gushed, my excitement palpable. Part of me h

  • EX-WIFE'S REVENGE   EPILOGUE

Alva sat by the window, the golden sunlight pouring over her as she gently caressed her rounded belly. She had just registered her marriage to Jonas a week ago in a quiet ceremony, their rings simple yet meaningful. Though their wedding celebration had been postponed until after the baby’s arrival, her heart was full. But today, she was restless. “I miss Mom,” Alva said softly, turning to Jonas, who was busy arranging a small pile of baby clothes they had recently bought. “I want to visit her.” Jonas looked up with a gentle smile, crossing the room to kneel in front of her. “Then let’s go,” he said, taking her hands in his. “You’re her pride and joy. I know seeing you will make her day.” As they prepared to leave, Alva suddenly gasped, clutching her stomach. A rush of water spilled onto the floor. “Jonas…” she whispered, her voice trembling. Jonas was at her side in an instant. “Your water broke,” he said, his voice steady despite the panic rising in his chest. “It’s time.”

  • EX-WIFE'S REVENGE   YOURS FOREVER

A few days after the press conference, Jonas stood outside his parents' home, holding Alva’s hand. The house was an impressive estate surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers, reflecting the warmth and grandeur of the Stanford family. Jonas turned to Alva with a reassuring smile. “Nervous?” he asked, squeezing her hand gently. “A little,” Alva admitted, glancing at the imposing double doors. “Meeting your parents officially is a big deal, Jonas.” Jonas chuckled, leaning in to kiss her forehead. “Trust me, they’ll love you as much as I do.” As they stepped inside, Alva was immediately enveloped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Jonas’s mother, Marianne, rushed forward, her arms outstretched. “Alva!” she exclaimed, pulling her into a heartfelt hug. “It’s so wonderful to see you again. Jonas has told us so much about you.” Alva smiled, touched by Marianne’s warmth. “Thank you, Mrs. Stanford. It’s an honor to meet you again.” “None of that formality,” Marianne said, waving he

A few days after the workshop ended, Alva returned home with Vidar and Jonas. The trio’s spirits were high, their bond stronger than ever after the eventful days they’d shared. But their cheerful mood took a sobering turn when they learned about Thea’s actions. Sitting in the living room, Karina explained everything; Thea’s betrayal, the recording, and her banishment to Australia. Alva’s face showed a mix of disbelief and relief. “She really tried to have me killed?” Alva whispered, shaking her head. “I can’t believe it.” Vidar clenched his fists. “It’s a good thing she’s gone. If she weren’t, I don’t know what I would’ve done.” Jonas nodded in agreement. “Your mom handled it well. And I think Australia is more mercy than she deserved.” Karina sighed. “It wasn’t easy, but it had to be done. I couldn’t risk her harming you, Alva.” She reached out, taking Alva’s hand. “You’re safe now, and that’s all that matters.” That evening, Alva and Vidar invited Jonas to join them for dinner

  • EX-WIFE'S REVENGE   I WANT US

As Nikolai held Freya in his arms, steadying her after her fall, their eyes locked. Time seemed to slow, the patter of rain on the windows fading into the background. Freya’s lips parted slightly as she gazed up at him, her cheeks flushed, her breath soft and quick. Neither of them spoke. They didn’t need to. The intensity in Nikolai’s gaze was mirrored in Freya’s own, and before they realized it, their faces inched closer. Their breaths mingled, and then their lips met in a soft, hesitant kiss. The kiss deepened quickly, fueled by the tension that had been building between them. Nikolai’s hands slid to Freya’s waist, pulling her closer, while Freya’s fingers curled into his shirt, clinging to him as if afraid to let go. The warmth of their connection surged through them, igniting something neither of them had felt before. Freya tilted her head, giving him better access as Nikolai’s lips moved with hers, their passion growing. As Nikolai guided her onto the couch, he looked into

As Karina watched Thea being dragged away, her resolve only hardened. "No matter what happens, I will never let you come back, Thea. I’ll make all the necessary arrangements to ensure that even if I’m no longer alive, you’ll never harm my daughter again," she thought coldly. Meanwhile, at Fjord Garden, Freya sat in the now-empty restaurant, her heart sinking with each passing minute. The rain continued to pour, and the once-romantic atmosphere now felt gloomy and cold. Glances from other patrons made her feel self-conscious, as though they were silently judging her for being stood up. Her phone had lost service, and she couldn’t reach Nikolai. Frustrated and embarrassed, she decided to leave. She walked out into the rain, clutching her small bag as she began looking for a cab. In her haste, her phone slipped out of her hand, splashing into a shallow puddle. "Damn it," she muttered, crouching to pick it up and wiping it off with her damp sleeve. The rain soaked through her clothes,

The next day, Nikolai couldn’t keep the grin off his face as he prepared for his second date with Freya after work. He had spent the entire night replaying moments from their first date, unable to think of anything else. Every time her laughter echoed in his mind, he found himself smiling like a fool. At the same time, Freya was already dressed and ready, her excitement bubbling over. She had chosen a light floral sundress that flowed beautifully around her, paired with simple sandals and a small clutch bag. She couldn’t stop thinking about Nikolai, her heart racing every time she imagined his smile or the way he had looked at her the night before. As Freya waited, her phone rang, and she picked up immediately when she saw Alva’s name. "Alva!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement. Freya shared everything about her date with Nikolai, thanking Alva profusely for making it possible. Alva, equally thrilled, recounted her own dramatic day at the auction, sharing every de

Vidar folded his arms, staring at Mina with a mixture of disgust and disbelief. His voice was cold as he spoke. "You know, Mina," he began, "after I found my long-lost sister, I was looking forward to introducing her to you. I thought you two could be friends, and maybe there was even a future for us. But you revealed your true colors before it ever came to that." Mina opened her mouth to speak, but Vidar raised a hand, silencing her. "I’m happy I realized your disgusting nature before I gave you a status in my life. Don’t ever come near me or my sister again," he said firmly. "And, oh....get ready to explain yourself in court for defaming Alva." Mina’s face paled. She turned to Emilie, who was just as shocked as a lot of people to learn that Alva was Vidar’s sister. Mina dropped to her knees, tears streaming down her face as she begged. "Vidar, please, I’m sorry! I love you so much. I thought Alva was your new girlfriend. I was blinded by jealousy. Mina’s hands trembled as she rummaged through Alva’s purse, her desperation growing with each passing second. In a final act of desperation, Mina turned the purse upside down, spilling its contents onto the floor. A few items fell out: some feminine wipes, a sleek black card, and a few dollar notes. The crowd watched in stunned silence as she crouched down, furiously pawing through the small pile. Alva stood above her, her gaze calm but piercing. She folded her arms, watching Mina humiliate herself. As Mina’s panic grew, Alva’s mind flashed back to the bathroom. She recalled how, through the mirror, she had seen Mina slip the bracelet into her purse while pretending to adjust her makeup. Alva had already been on guard, having noticed Mina’s earlier conversation with Emilie. Jonas had

Nikolai arrived at Aurora Bistro, a picturesque lakeside restaurant with a rustic charm. The bistro’s warm glow under string lights reflected on the tranquil water, creating an intimate and magical ambiance. He parked his car and walked toward the entrance, his nerves tingling with anticipation. As Nikolai entered, his eyes landed on Freya, who was already seated at a table near the window overlooking the lake. The sight of her momentarily took his breath away. She wore a deep emerald green dress that complimented her fair complexion. The soft fabric flowed effortlessly, cinching at the waist and flaring slightly at her knees. Her hair was styled in loose waves that framed her delicate features, and her light makeup highlighted her natural beauty. Freya’s bright smile, however, was what truly stole Nikolai’s attention. He approached the table with a grin. “Freya, you look absolutely stunning. I feel like I’m at a gala instead of a dinner date.” Freya blushed, smoothing her dress
