I Promise

She turn to look at me and then she looks away.

“ I know I messed up, I should have listened to you back then when you wanted to speak but I shunned you, I swear I did that for you, I did that for you because I did not want you to be hurt by irene that was just the way I could protect you” he said.

I didn’t talk instead everything he said took me back to the past, the day I was going to tell him I was pregnant and how he had them rested me like a nobody but then I thought back to how he loved the kids when he didn’t even know they are not his.

I look back at him.

“ You made a promise back then, you knew you made me believed your promises and then what did you do, you broke me into pieces, I believed everything you promised then, I had no one , I had to do everything on my own” I said crying.

“ I am so sorry, I promise to make it up to you, I and the kids need you, come back home” I said.

“I don’t want to, I just want to be alone with my kids” I said.
