Making an escape

Fanny packed her clothes into her bag, over the bed was a boy around the age of five seated with his hand between his legs.

“Are we leaving?” He asked him with a sad face.

“We need to leave, run far away from here. That’s what we need to do and don’t ever come back here.” She hurriedly take them out, the things she was gonna need.

“What about grandma?” She went to her, leaving the bed.

“She’s getting treated at the hospital and she’s gonna meet us soon when she is fully treated okay?” She touched his forehead with her hands and force out a smile at him.

“C’mon” She took him in her arms and made her way to the door but the door opened before she could get out.

“Please!” She yelled thinking it was Dino who had come to get her but surprisingly it was someone else.

“Wesley?”

“Are you running away after what you did?” She glanced between him and her son. She didn’t wanna let him hear anything or see anything that’s gonna happen here either.

She didn’t want him to see any of that.
