CHAPTER FORTY FOUR

"What's going on Jake..?"

Jake bent over and knelt down on one knee in front of her. Claire clasped her hands over her mouth as he did so..

"Oh my God..Jake ?" She exclaimed

"Will you marry me, Claire Michaelson?" Jake proposed, smiling so brightly, holding out an open red ring box, containing a beautiful silver ring with a glistening heart shaped diamond on top! It was gorgeous!

"Oh my God!!" Claire exclaimed again..

"This is unbelievable! Are you being serious, Jake?" She asked in disbelief

Jake nodded, still smiling.

"Yes!!! Yesss!! I do Jake!! Ofcourse I'll marry you!" Claire laughed, excitement overwhelming her. She stretched forth her left hand as Jake carefully slides the ring onto her engagement finger, and planted a kiss on it.

Claire beamed with joy as they kissed and hugged.

"It's so beautiful, Jake!" She commented, excitedly.

"Am glad you like it. I was a bit worried you might not"

"I love it!"

Jake smiled.

"But, Claire, I'd still have to leave...I can't stay for now." J
