CHAPTER 21: THEY WILL ALL PAY

"Take me back!" I demanded, baffling my bodyguard beside me as he checked on me.

"Where, ma'am?" he asked, his eyes betraying his reluctance. I knew for a fact he didn't want to take me back but I had decided abd I was the boss here, no one else was.

I glared at him, sure he knew exactly where I wanted to go but was pretending dumb. Ignoring his feigned ignorance, I retrieved my phone from my purse and dialed a number, my rage resurfacing.

"Ma'am..." he started, but I raised my hand to silence him.

I needed to handle this myself. Laura had crossed a line, and I knew exactly how to deal with her. I was sure as crystal that I was her.

"Alpha Alexander, I need to talk to you," I said as soon as the call connected.

"Hello, Miss Gift," he responded smoothly, surprising me. He had saved my number. I swallowed hard, caught off guard but determined.

"Are you around?"

"I'm heading to the packhouse now. You can come," he continued.

"Thank you, I'll be there soon," I replied curtly before end
