CHAPTER SEVEN

Stephanie, Stephanie O'Neal, award winning actress, beautiful, talented,she is a catch. she had a massive crush on William Channing but it was one sided. So disappointing.

"William"

"Stephanie" they exchanged a hug

"It has been forever, where have you been?" Stephanie asked

"Parents have been keeping me busy"William replied

"Oh,who is she?"she asked as she glared at Chloe

"This is Chloe, my girlfriend" William could sense hostility in the air

"Girlfriend huh? So what about us?"

"Steph can we not do this here? We kinda have an appointment"

"Fine, we will just set a date instead" she said

"We can't go on dates anymore Stephanie, I'm in a relationship, she's not gonna like that" William insisted

Stephanie glared at chloe she walked away angrily.

"She's a feisty one, is she gonna be a problem?" Chloe added

"No babe."

Days later after returning home Chloe had to face her punishment for leaving without permission and that punishment was working in the hospital. Since she had been avoiding her duty and passing the load to Sandra what better way to punish her than give her more work to do.

Chloe worked as a caregiver in the hospital, She particularly had attachment to a couple who were abandoned in the hospital while In coma. Worst of all the couple were swamp up in debt. Chloe hated the fact that the doctors were not giving the couple any medical care and that no one informed her that such act is being displayed in her hospital.

she cleared the couple's hospital bill and began treatment for them.

*in Chloe's home"

Chloe decided to enlighten Sandra of her encounter with the patient and Sandra was really proud of her to have taken it as her duty to take care of the less fortunate.

"Do you want to see them?"

"Sure baby, anything for you"Sandra replied.

The following day just as Chloe walked into the hospital she heard news that the couple she had invested in finally woke up after so many years. Gosh all she wanted to do was meet and greet them and she did just that. It took days but they began to talk again. Chloe had finished her punishment but she still went to the hospital daily. She had assigned a nurse to take care of the couple and give her a daily report.

"Miss Chloe the patient seems to be calling out a name everytime they speak I just thought you should be aware of that" the nurse reported.

"Alright" Chloe walked into the private hospital room.

"Hi, good morning, I'm Chloe"

"Where is summer?"the woman(patient) asked.

"Who is summer?" 

"My daughter, help me find summer, I need summer" the patients were babbling on and on about summer and Chloe took it to heart that she would look for summer.

"Gosh Sandra I've been searching for their kid for the past two weeks and nothing has come up, I'm starting to think that summer doesn't exist". Chloe had a faurstrating look on her face.

"Did you just say summer?"Sandra was shocked on hearing that name, she never thought she would here that name again.

"Take me to these people that you are taking care of, I need to see them"

"Sure but you seem to know something about summer."

"I don't, I just want to see the people that got you so dedicated." She lied, she knew a summer, she needed to be sure if her suspicions were right.

"Alright then"

Chloe and Sandra went downstairs to the hospital room and on getting there Sandra couldn't believe her eyes. There they were, yes it was her bosses who she thought were dead, yes Chloe's parents, what a coincidence that Chloe took interest in her own parents. Sandra wanted to tell Chloe that those were her parents but she stopped herself. That was something she had to figure out she had to figure out that she was Summer Vanpett.

"Where are we going?"Chloe asked her boyfriend, still can't believe that Chloe has a boyfriend and not just an ordinary boy, William Channing

"I'm taking you to my place" William replied

"Don't you think we are moving too fast? I mean Paris is one thing and now your home"

"Oh chill it will be fine"

They later arrived at the Channings hotel.

"You live here? I would have imagined that the Channings would be living in a mansion"

"I don't live with my parents, my dad wants to teach me to be independent from a young age so he gave me a suit here"

"your definition of independent is messed up" Chloe laughed.

They finally got to the penthouse after a somewhat long elevator ride

"This is me" William gestured as they  walked in. The house help rushed towards him.

"Your mother is here sir" the maid reported and left after taking a slight bow.

"What is she doing here"William thought and figured this is going to be an awkward meeting with Chloe around.

"Mom, I wasn't expecting you" William kissed his mom on her cheeks

"I wanted to see my son" Barbra Channing is a tall and elegant woman. Her every appearance was classy and priceless.

"Good day ma'am" summer stretched her hand but retracted it knowing that barb wasn't going to shake her.

"Son who is this young landy?"

"This is Chloe,my girlfriend"

"Girlfriend? aren't you too young for that?

"Mom"

"Fine, I brought some food over. When you have time baby come home to see your dad and I, we really miss you"

" I will mother, goodbye"

"Bye" 

Barbra left the building

"Your mom does not like me"

"Don't worry about that,she doesn't want me to be with any girl."

"That's just crazy"

"What's crazy is that she is gonna do a background check on you"

"Good luck to her she's not gonna find anything"

"Common let me show you around, you are gonna love it here.

William and Chloe toured the suit and found themselves in the screening room. like every normal couple they had a conversation.

"The school session is about to begin, have you changed your mind about coming to Empire Academy?"

"I most definitely will be attending this session"

"Good, you won't regret it" Chloe assured

The couple Chloe were taking care of were being discharged after a lot of convincing, Chloe finally brought em to her house.

"You don't have to do this much for us Chloe" the man said

"Gosh it's fine I've always wanted parents and I really like you guys. Sorry I couldn't find your daughter"

"It's fine, when we completely regain our memory we will find her, you have done more than enough for us already" the woman said

"Come on in"

Later that day, when Sandra got home, she was happy to see her bosses but she was upset that Chloe didn't think to tell her about this big move 

"What the hell Chloe, do you think nothing of me? have I thought you nothing? how can you make a big move like this and not mention it to me? Just because I'm not always around you don't tell me anything. I'm not around because of you. I'm running your hospital and ur companies and attending meetings in ur place, travelling everywhere just so you don't go bankrupt and here you are making decisions for your self"

"I didn't think it was a problem. We have more than enough rooms in the house and they had nowhere to go."

"Since you are so hell bent on making decisions by yourself do not come to me for anything again Chloe."

Sandra stormed out angry. This time Chloe had crossed the line big time.

Chloe has never seen Sandra angry, ever, she knew she had messed up big time. But wasn't helping a good thing?

she went to Sandra's room.

*knock on door*

"Go away Chloe, I don't want to talk to you"

"Sandra I'm sorry, I thought I was doing the right thing, I didn't mean to upset you"

"You are doing the right thing but by not telling me, your guardian, about it is just wrong. I taught you better than this."

"I promise I won't do it again, please forgive me."

Sandra couldn't possibly stay mad at her baby, could she? Of course not. Chloe and her have been through worse things than this to let this become a problem.

Sandra opened the door

"Don't ever make this mistake again"

"Thank you Sandra" she hugged Sandra..

The following morning.

"I'm leaving for Quebec City. there's a galar I'm attending in ur place . don't forget ur 'mom and dad' are to go to the hospital for check up." 

"Got it" Chloe smiled

"That is all, I'm leaving"

Sandra left Chloe alone again. After sending the couple to the hospital Chloe decided to go into the town and site see. It's not everyday she get to go on a walk like a normal person.

A black Mercedes stoped in front of her as she was walking on the street.

" Get in!"
