That day, when I took Titus back home, both of us were excited to see Eden. What we didn’t expect was to meet her in front of the castle just as we returned, covered in blood from head to toes.

She refused to tell us what had happened even after a whole week passed.

During the week, we carefully followed Titus’ recovery step by step. He got better, almost perfect health and it seemed that he was adjusting to his new self. Leo took the change pretty easily so that was a massive weight that was taken off my chest.

And yet, up to this day, Eden still refused to tell either of us what she did in the woods that night we spent in the damn cave.

It didn't matter how many times Titus and I asked the questions. We even tried to bribe her with the weirdest offers and she still refused to budge.

What we did find out from her was that Asher was connected to giants somehow. He had gotten a family member in, that was how he found an easy access to the castle.
