Tahimik kong pinagmamasdan ang mga batang naglalaro rito sa playground. Hapon na at naisipan kong ilabas muna si Sham-sham at maglakad-lakad dito sa village at nang mapadaan ako dito sa playground ay naupo muna ako at hawak ang tali ni Sham-sham na nasa tabi ko.
Mag-iisang linggo na mula nang magbakasyon kami ni Gavril sa Tagaytay at manalo sa Kite Competition sa Cavite. Ganoon pa rin naman ang nangyayari, pumupunta si Gavril sa bahay, maglalaro sila ni Sham-sham, magku-kwentuhan kami at saka uuwi na siya. Pero sa ilang araw na palagi kong kasama si Gavril sa bahay, palagi ko pa ring naiisip ang sinabi sa akin ni Auntie Remi tungkol kay Gavril. I don’t understand why do I need to stay away from Gavril just because he is a Santillan? I don’t get it and what is the connection of Gavril’s family to ours? Bakit kilala ni Auntie Remi ang family ni Gavril?

This is a case of murder but the real culprit of this crime framed up someone, pointing and setting up someone’s innocence.I sat very straight and calmly as I can while I am hearing the lawyer of the defendant’s statement. He stating the scenario capturing the main suspect of the crime. He also asked the suspect about his statement of what happened that night.
