59. "Vic and Victoria"

Martin went home after agreeing to annul the engagement with Victoria. He decided right away as soon as he realized that he was in love with his dead bodyguard.

"So, I was in love with you. All this time, I thought you were just a friend," Martin murmured, sitting on a bed.

He's inside Vic's room. It was the room that was well-cleaned, but no person dared to visit.

Ever since Vic died, Martin prevented anyone from visiting it except the maid who cleaned the place.

In silence, Martin found himself crying.

"I hated you," he whispered.

When Vic was accused of stabbing Zoe's arm, he hated her for that. But if he really loathed her, would he be compelled to visit her and ask her to lie?

At that time, Martin did not realize anything, even though being so bothered like that was evidence enough that he could not let her go.
