The Culprit

Bella met the butler on her way and quickly asked him to bring a bottle of champagne and two glasses to the inner living room before she returned to Richard’s side.

“Where is the bottle?” He asked seeing her return empty-handed. “I thought you were going to bring it.”

Bella settled on the floor next to him and replied with a smile that reached her eyes, “The butler is going to get it.”

A few minutes later, the butler returned with the items she had asked for and Richard literally watched her put a call through to her friends.

It was a video call that would enable her to show forth her happiness to them and just like that, he watched himself get dragged to play a role.

She made him pop the champagne and clink glasses with her while her friends watched from the phone screen dreamily.

Never had he expected that his calm and composed woman would have this side to her. Even while they were dating, she never showed this extreme comic side of her until they got married.
