Keenan –POV

I felt frustrated and angry at myself for being overconfident and telling Archer the truth. I knew he had intentionally exposed me to Lavina, leading to her banning me from approaching her or entering her apartment. James had been instructed to block my access, ensuring I couldn't forcefully enter and speak with her. I knew that Archer would go to great lengths to stop me, possibly even using his shadow power to harm me.

With a heavy sigh, I heard the doorbell. Checking the camera, I couldn't make out the visitor's face.

"Who are you?" I called out.

"KCA," she whispered back. The code word froze me in place, prompting me to let her into my apartment. As she took off her cape, I was stunned to see her face.
