"Maybe she's been wrongly tested for her powers," Keenan suggested. I let out a heavy sigh.

"You're making this difficult, you know. You saw the report, and then you just left," Archer snapped, barely containing his anger to avoid striking Keenan again.

"Have you not caused enough trouble here?" Leo added, his tone light but his words sharp. Ella and Darcus remained calm, yet their eyes reflected a clear hostility as Keenan stormed out of the office, slamming the door behind him on his way out of my house.

"Thanks for stepping in, everyone. Though I could have handled Keenan myself," I said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Why don't we address the actual issue, Lavina?" Ella proposed, cutting through the tension.

"What do you mean?" I inquired, puzzled by her insinuation.

"It seems like there's something on your mind that you're reluctant to share," Ella pressed, her intuition sharp. I sighed deeply. "Perhaps if Alice were here, you'd be more inclined to open up." No sooner
