Seraphina didn’t have time to react to hearing the Prince’s pet name for her as when the Prince stepped out of the carriage with her in him arms once again, she was greeted by the beautiful marble castle that stood before her. She gasped as she took in her surroundings, she took a moment to let her eyes scan all around her.
From the tall marble turrets beautifully decorated with gold to the perfectly manicured gardens filled with tall blossoms trees that released little pink petals as the wind gently blew. Her eyes were wide brimming with wonder, she looked further and saw rose bushes, lilies and all other kinds of flowers she didn’t even recognise. It was like nothing she could have ever dreamed.
The Prince watched her with curiosi
The Prince stepped out of the water and wrapped a towel around his waist. He held out the other towel for Seraphina to step into and draped it around her shoulders. The Prince leaned forward and placed a sweet kiss on Seraphina’s head, he then scooped her up into his arms and proceeded to walk through the gardens towards a large stone staircase at the back. “These are my quarters... and yours if you wish to stay here”. The Prince studied Seraphina’s face trying to understand what she was thinking, he could feel that she was happy though still hesitant about something. The more time he spent with her, the stronger their soul connection was getting. He loved her before she was even born, the feelings he had for her went beyond love. He would do anything and everything in his power to make her happy and to bring her peace. He would give her any riches she wanted, as many children as she wanted, all the lands he possessed, she owned
Achilles carried Seraphina through the Palace in his arms despite her protests that she can walk, after a short while, they reached a grand golden archway in the left wing of the Palace. Achilles nudged the door open with his foot and stepped inside still carrying Seraphina. Seraphina was surprised to see Bethel, Rose and Melanie seated there. They had changed clothes and were dressed in beautiful, modest gowns. A far cry from the ugly servants' uniforms they had spent their lives wearing. What was even more surprising was, they were all sat drinking tea and laughing with the King and Queen!Achilles walked to the table and gently sat Seraphina down in a tall, ornate chair. He took the seat next to her and nodded to Bethel, Rose and Melanie. The three of them stood and bowed in return, “No need for formalities ladies, we are practically family n
Seraphina had indulged herself far too much, as soon as she ate one thing off of her plate, Achilles was sure to replace it with something different. By the end of the tea, she was sure she had tasted everything there. She had never eaten so much before and had never experienced the feeling of fullness. A wave of tiredness suddenly hit her and she fought hard not to slump in her seat. Achilles was immediately aware of Seraphina’s fatigue and prepared to make their exit from the afternoon tea. Achilles was about to speak up when Narcissus suddenly started “Child, you look utterly exhausted!” he said to Seraphina. “Achilles, what are you doing keeping your Princess here, take her to rest at once. From tomorrow, she has 18 years of living to make up for”.Achilles rolled his eyes at his father. “If you will excuse us,
Seraphina’s body contorted and she thrashed around the bath as pearlescent scales began to replace her flawless olive skin. Seraphina’s body started to elongate and as she clambered out of the bath and threw herself onto the cold marble bathroom floor. Her back hunched painfully as wings began to sprout from her shoulder blades and a long, smooth, pointed tail replaced her perfect rear. Seraphina clutched at her jaw as she felt her sharp fangs replace her teeth, she caught sight of her hands morphing into silver claws and she screamed in panic only to her a low rumble.Seraphina collapsed back onto the ground in a heap and soon, she felt the pain begin to subside. “Seraphina....Seraphina, can you hear me my sweet flower?” The voice sounded far away, as though she was hearing it through a tunnel. Seraphina tried to concentrate o
Seraphina too was surprised, she had never even touched a man before Achilles yet, she was exploring him and tasting him as though it was second nature, it was like an instinct to pleasure her Prince. Suddenly, Achilles shot up and picked up Seraphina by her waist and brought her to his face, Seraphina wrapped her legs around his neck in response and a small cry escaped her mouth as he began to lap up the nectar that she was dripping for him. He slowly lowered her onto the bed, his lips not breaking contact with her sweet little flower and he proceeded to suck and lick her bud. Within seconds, stars danced across Seraphina’s vision as a wave of an orgasm came over her, she cried out loud and pushed her hips up to Achilles. He did not relent though, continuing to flick his tongue through her soft folds as her moan's continued. As Seraphina’
Seraphina and Achilles walked in a comfortable silence. Achilles tentatively watched Seraphina take in her surroundings, he was in awe as he watched her marvel in the delicate bird song that was floating through the air. His heart swelled as she closed her eyes and tilted her head up towards the sun, drinking it in. She sighed as she felt the warmth on her skin.“You are just perfect” her whispered to her as he leaned over and kissed her cheek. Seraphina smiled gently, “Achilles, I want to know about your life” Seraphina told him. “I’m not sure what to tell you my love, I’ve spent the majority of my life on the battlefront.” Achilles said solemnly. “Why do you insist on going to battle? From what your Mother said, it is not one of your duties as Prince but something you have volunteered to.”
Achilles stared into the direction Seraphina had flew off, he contemplated shifting and going after her but, he decided it was probably best to leave her to gather her thoughts. He knew her outburst was because her and her dragon’s personalities were morphing but, her words were the truth. He was wracked with guilt at having wasted time with other women. He always knew his past indiscretions could affect their relationship when he eventually found her but, knowing what she had endured, having to fight to keep her virginity. He felt disgusted with himself. Achilles didn’t know what to do to make amends, no number of apologies could change the past. He just wanted to make everything right and continue to start a life with Seraphina. He pulled himself out of the lake and returned to his room to dress, he needed to speak to someone, he needed advice and reassurance that he hadn’t lost Seraphina after only just finding her.
When Achilles arrived at his room, he saw Seraphina was nowhere to be seen, she was still avoiding him and he understood why. He sat on the chaise lounge at the foot of the bed and sighed with his head in his hands. It really was his intention to marry Seraphina, he picked out her engagement ring when he was 15. He had searched relentlessly for her but by the time he turned 18, he had lost all hope of ever finding her. Since then, he had spent the better part of 10 years whoring himself about.Achilles stood and walked to a chest of drawers in the corner of the room and open one, he took out a small leather box with a pearl on the clasp. He opened it and looked at the ring inside. It was a large pear cut diamond surrounded by small sapphires. The band was woven like a vine with small amethysts cushioned into it. The large diamond was Seraphina’s
“Do you think it will work?” Seraphina’s eyes followed Isobella as she paced back and forth.
Grief. Bone chilling, stomach turning, blood curdling grief. That’s all Seraphina could feel. She collapsed and let out a wail that sounded almost demonic. She clawed at her naked skin and screamed into the night. Her screeches loud enough to disturb the heavens. Raging fires encircled her like a protective wall. She wrapped her arms around her stomach, feeling empty, hollow, lost. She could hear the sound of laughter, a cruel, demented laugh. Turning her head towards the sound, her eyes reflecting the flames dancing as they were slick with tears. Stepping through the flames, she stalked towards the person laughing at her, her hands partially shifted into the claws of her dragon. Ready to tear out the throats of whoever had dared to mock her.
It felt as though a lifetime had passed by the time they arrived back at the manor. All the while, Seraphina had been calling out to Achilles in her mind, hoping and praying she would hear from him. A response, a whisper, a cough, anything…but nothing came.As the courtyard came into sights, she came to a halt as she hovered in the air, gently allowing herself to descend onto the ground.Cheers erupted as soon as they landed and she was immediately surrounded by anxious and tearful faces. As the mages dismounted with the children, Matteo came rushing over to Seraphina holding a robe open in his arms. Nodding her head at him, she shifted back and shrugged her arms into the robe before tying it in place.
The two older girls looked at each other before settling the babies down and stepping forward, careful to keep the younger girls behind them. Crouching down, they dug their hands into the dirt before looking up at the crowd before them, their eyes glazed over as roots and vines shot out from the ground and began to wrap around the legs of the soldiers, winding their way up around their torso and arms. The vampires among the soldiers made effort to free themselves though, the humans for the most part were completely stuck in place fighting against their little cages.Freeing herself from the vines, Seraphina bent down to get onto their level and opened her palm out skyward. Whispering words in the air, a small handmade doll appeared in her hand as she
A wave of nausea passed over Seraphina as she approached the circle of mages. Swaying on her feet, her hand shot out to grab Aurelia’s arm, steadying herself.“Is everything okay Seraphina?” Aurelia whispered under her breath. She gulped audibly before nodding and gesturing for them to continue forward. The circle of mages parted as Seraphina, Achilles and Aurelia came to meet them. Isobella opened her arms out to embrace Seraphina, as they parted she paused momentarily and cast her eyes over Seraphina’s body. An unsettling look came across her face before she shook it away and gave a solemn smile.“Are you sure it is wi
“Violence will be avoided if possible, our main priority is to get in, get the children and get them out. The mages along with Princess Seraphina will be entrusted with bringing the children back to the manor. Magnus?” Aurelia addressed the solider.“Yes Princess,” the aforementioned stepped forward with a salute.“You will stay here with your men to await their return in case anyone tries to follow. The children will stay the night here with their families, they will be seen to by the palace doctors, Helga and Bethel to see if they require any treatment. You are to guard them at all times. I want 2 soldiers stationed inside each of their rooms and an additional 2 guarding the doors.”
An electric buzz coursed through Thea as the mages chanted their syphoning spell. Seamus had warned her that she would feel the absorption of the magic but, she had no idea it would feel so…thrilling. Butterflies, more akin to flying rocks, danced around in her stomach, a radiant sensation passed through her body, warming her from head to toe.The notion that she was absorbing her father’s magic suddenly occurred to her. She had never felt connected to her parents, having no memories of them whatsoever. Moving to the DeBeaux Angelo manor, she thought she would’ve felt a connection, a spark, something but, she didn’t. It just felt like a house. Now, for the first time, she felt connected, she felt the love her father had for h
“I should have known your father would’ve kept an alter hidden somewhere,” Isobella grinned as she walked into the secret room.
