Chapter 21 The First Time

In the hospital, Bai Shengsheng was walking along the corridor to the elevator with her x-ray in her hand and touching her collar after she had got it put around her neck.

Suddenly, she felt cold and shivered, as if there had been a burst of sinister wind.

She couldn't help stopping and looking around.

She didn't notice anyone suspicious. Then she frowned wonderingly and kept walking, "It's so weird. Why was there a burst of sinister wind?"

She didn't know by then that Song Shuang was on his way to cause her trouble.

The Second Hospital was always a famous hospital in City Bei.

Although it had a second in its name, it was the uncrowned king among all the hospitals in City Bei.

It was the best in terms of the advanced medical equipment and the expertise of the doctors.

Bai Shengsheng's elevator was overcrowded.

She walked away from him quickly and followed the rest people out of the hospital hall.

Shen Jing felt no hurry when he saw her leaving in alarm. He lifted one side of his mouth and followed her smilingly.

Song Shuang strode out from the elevator.

He just arrived at the orthopedic clinic.

Dr. Wang of the orthopedics department strangely asked him, "What are you doing here, Dr. Song?"

He went straight away to the hall to look for Bai Shengsheng.

But he didn't see her there either.

Xu Xi, who happened to pass by, saw Song Shuang. She bit her lip and touched her cheek excitedly. She walked quickly to Song Shuang's side, "Dr. Song? Aren't you off today? Why do you come here?"

"Did you see Bai Shengsheng?"

He asked Xu Xi directly.

Xu Xi was confused, but she remembered that she saw Bai Shengsheng a few minutes ago. So she lifted her hand and pointed at the gate, "I just saw her walk that way with a man."

Song Shuang's eyes became dark on hearing it.

Xu Xi noticed the change of his eyes and she recalled that Bai Shengsheng tried to please Song Shuang's mother-in-law, so she couldn't help stirring up trouble. "The personal life of Miss Bai is unbelievable! They acted quite intimately. Maybe he is her boyfriend or ex..."

Before Xu Xi finished her words, Song Shuang walked out of the hospital quickly with a sullen look.

Outside the hospital.

"If you keep following me, I'll call the police, Mr. Shen!"

Bai Shengsheng couldn't take it anymore. She suddenly stopped and turned around to look at Shen Jing.

The passers-by looked at them curiously when she raised her voice and warned him.

Shen Jing still acted like a good boyfriend without showing the slightest sign of being angry. He seemed to have such a good temper, "Shengsheng, why are you so angry? I really reflected on myself lately. I was too hasty last time. Perhaps I can invite you to dinner to apologize?"

The man didn't say a word for a long time.

And she passed out suddenly because of the headache caused by her neck injury.
