Chapter 91

Din looked down at Jessie while taking a deep breath and placing his hands on his hips. "I apologize if this makes you uncomfortable."

Was he kidding? She was not feeling uncomfortable. Well, she was, but her heart wasn't.

"I should have waited."

Jessie turned her head away. "No, I understand why you did it. Because of Granddad, am I correct?"

"No. Not because of Grandad. Now that I am in control of the business, he has no influence over anything I do. I am the boss now."

Without knowing what to say next, Jessie simply stood up and made her way to the closet. She retrieved her towel and the clothing she would be wearing for her evening stroll when she finally woke up from her nap.

After closing the closet, she turned to face Din. "Where is the bathroom?"

Din gestured to her left, and she turned for the door without waiting for him to say anything further.

She vanished, and the door closed with a click.

Din was all by himself and was observing the route Jessie took to the restro
