Craig and Tyrone were about the same height, and they both had lean figures. So, at first glance, she mistook him for Tyrone.

Maybe she had expected Tyrone to rescue her because he had saved her several times when she was in danger.

Heather lowered her eyes.

Tyrone thought she was a spy. He wouldn't even look at her, so why would he come back to save her?

The man saw Craig's pressuring demeanor and left hastily.

"Hattie, are you okay?"

Craig turned around, crouched before Heather, and saw her hand covering her knee. Without waiting for her to speak, he reached out to lift her skirt to check her injury.

"I'm fine." Heather pushed his hand away.

Craig's outstretched hand froze mid-air, and a hint of complex emotion flashed in his eyes. Did she feel so disgusted by her touch?

"Why are you here?"

"I made a lunch appointment with you here." Craig withdrew his hand quietly.
