"I'll pass your remarks on to the owner the next time I see him and ask him to recreate the original dish."

Craig smiled with a gentle twinkle in his eyes.

It had been a while since they had eaten breakfast together. That day was the first time they'd had a peaceful exchange since his return.

Craig didn't like dumplings. He was implying that he had put in an effort to buy breakfast for her.

"Can he recreate the taste even if you give him feedback?"

Heather continued, "Things have changed, so it doesn't taste the same. No matter how hard you try to recreate it, it won't be the same."
