Tyrone's voice was cold, and his words dripped with sarcasm and danger as he said, "You were supposed to pick me up at the airport, but no, you decided to stop by the Lunary for dinner instead."

He thought Heather had gotten herself into trouble with Bob by deliberately having dinner with Ivy at the Lunary instead of picking him up from the airport.

Heather froze. "I think you got it all wrong, Mr. Elkin. I didn't go to the Lunary to have dinner with Ivy; I went to save her," she explained.

"Ha!" Tyrone barked a humorless laugh.

"I'm serious! I was on my way to the airport when she sent me a message asking for help. I went to the Lunary after that and found her tied up in Mr. Waylon's room," Heather elaborated.

Seeing that Tyrone didn't believe her, Heather pulled up her conversation with Ivy and showed it to him. "See? This was what she sent me."

Tyrone glanced at the screen and saw that Ivy had indeed sent a message for help to Heather an hour ago. At least she wasn't lying.
