Obviously in a pleasant mood, Tyrone raised a brow and placed a hand around Heather's waist. Then, he pulled out his phone and gave Caleb a call. He instructed him to bring the chief police officer to the hospital.

Caleb carried out his orders quickly, and within half an hour, he got the chief there.

When they arrived, Tyrone had Heather on his lap and was watching the financial news. Heather was watching a sitcom on her phone to kill time.

Heather didn't like being held like this, and she'd initially refused the idea of Tyrone holding her this way. But her refusals had never worked.

When she heard a knock on the door, she quickly wanted to hop off Tyrone's lap, but he tightened his hold on her waist and shot her an icy look. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Let go of me, Mr. Elkin. Someone's here," Heather muttered embarrassedly.

"So what? Sit still!"

Tyrone was putting up a calm facade, but his tone was overbearing.
