"How could you do this to me, Maverick? How?" Jolene yelled at him as he pushed him away from touching her. She felt nothing but disgust toward her.

At first, she thought he was a changed man but not for so long. He tricked her into having sex with him.

Maverick doesn't look anywhere remorseful. Instead, he went into the bathroom to take a shower and came out with a towel wrapped around his waist. He stared at Jolene for a while as tears rolled down her cheek. It was obvious she didn't want to have it with him but he made her do it. He forced her into doing his will thinking things would change but nothing changed because the more she thought of what he did to her, the more she hated him.
