Eleven: Commotion

I moved my gaze from him. I was more than embarrassed at this point. I also started to feel like I should have listened to Lauretta when she asked me to leave his shirt. This was so unfair. What crime did I commit, that he was punishing me this severely?

"What will you gain from this?" I whispered, almost certain that he didn't hear me.

"Nothing," he replied. Oh, he heard me.

Raising my neck to catch his gaze again, I strained my eyes, shocked by his prattle. "Nothing?" I had to confirm that I heard him right.

He nodded his head without hesitating. "Huh."

"But I'm human too. Can't you see that I have emotions? Why would you even think of embarrassing me this much?" My pain was only worsening.

"Go home now." All he could do was to order me around. "We'll continue our conversation there. Right now, I hope this has taught you enough lessons. I always tell you to listen to me. I don't joke with my words."

"I won't leave until you—"

"Baby." The moronic, irritating, crazy, asshole—
