"I was passing by that small town, going to Sever Port. I was the first one on the scene," Ramona said to the police. She knew she was being watched through the interrogation room's glass window. She teared up and said, "And that poor woman was dead."

"In the backseat, the baby was crying, and I was looking around; I was afraid the car might explode," Ramona shared. "So I hurriedly took the baby from inside, and just as I got out, a man from the other car approached. He was bleeding. He said that I should give him the baby."

Ramona felt her chest as she claimed, "Something in me believed they were going to hurt the child! So I ran! I ran as fast as I could. I got in my car and drove away. That man from the car tried to chase after me, but he was wounded, so I managed to escape."

"No one saw you?" The police asked. "Wasn't it more crowded in the crash area?"

"We were in the middle of an intersection, yes, but the people in that small town did not step outs
