Chapter 46 Why is he Here?

Serena’s POV

Curious about the reason why he was here, I left my table and walked towards Harry. He was talking to someone. He accidentally glanced my way while laughing. His eyes stared at me intensely so I decided to approach him but before I could see that person’s face, he left and Harry turned around and our gazes met.

“Serena!” He smiled and I was relieved for some reason.

I smiled back at him, “Why are you here?”

He pulled me closer to him and kissed my temple. “I’m helping a friend. He couldn't make it here so I covered his shift as a bartender.”

Slowly, I nodded. “Hm.”

He pulled me to sit on a stool chair and faced me. He rested his hand on the bar counter and the other on the side of the stool chair where I was sitting. He was so close and I couldn't help but stare at his face while feeling strange emotions inside me, making me feel electrifying pleasure because of the kind of stare he’s giving me.
