Chapter 53 A Beautiful Painting

Serena's POV

I noticed changes in Mililie. She accepted Tyler’s apology and even hugged him, I can feel something is wrong. She was starting to distance herself from some people particularly from Tyler. She won’t say a thing. She’s hiding her pain and I want to slap Tyler so hard for not even noticing it. He thought if he apologized, the pain would go away but he’s wrong. He’s always wrong.

Sitting on a park bench, I was intently watching Harry teaching Millie to ride a bicycle. Why didn’t I realize that Tyler failed to teach all the things a father should teach his daughter? He was always busy and the only thing he’s good at is buying Millie’s toys. He loves her. So much as he claims, but he can’t really prove it enough.

“Uncle, don’t let go!” Millie screamed as she kept riding the bike.
