End of S1: Lost in the forest.

Psyche was relieved when the sequence of events reverted, despite the switching of luggage incident. As of the moment, she is enjoying the sight of a pale foamy orange sky that sets the horizon boundary on the ocean. She was watching the youthful smile of students who were enjoying the last day at the resort/campsite.

Psyche seated beside her while on a video call with Daniel. Serina simply peeked at the screen and smiled. Later on, Gregory approached them with a fresh buko juice. 

"Move a little," says Psyche, preventing Gregory from occupying the spare space beside Serina. 

"What are you guys doing during October break?"

Serina suddenly remembered that she had to appear with her husband for Aunt. Lucilla. It was at that time she accidentally tipped her feet and ended up kissing one of the strangers. She sighed upon remembering such an embarrassing moment.

"Probably enjoying quality time with my Daniel," Psyche replied.

Serina was about to speak when her phone notified her about its running out of battery. She stood up and said, "Guys, I'm going back to the cottage. I need to charge my phone and prepare my belongings as well since we are heading home later. How about you, aren't you going to prepare?"

"Nah. I'm done."

She went to the restroom first when all of a sudden, a cat walked on the edge of the window. She paid no attention until it talked to her...

"It's been a while, my child."

"Wait!" She yelled and went outside to chase the cat, not knowing where her feet would lead her.

On the other hand, Vincanster did not announce his return to surprise Serina. However, when he asked Psyche and Daniel, they answered in chorus... "She vanished."

He was touching his nose bridge while trying to contact Serina only to receive a voice saying the number you dialed is out of the coverage area, please try your call later.

"I'll find her. I need three people at least to be dispatched in the area," says Vincaster, then he heads straight to the forest.

He was already in the heart of the forest yet Serina is nowhere to be found. Suddenly a cat appeared and it stared at him. He doesn't know what got into him, but he followed the cat as if he was being controlled.

Then it ran away as soon as his eyes caught sight of a woman crouching on the grass.

"Seriously, what is she doing in here?" he said while walking slowly and silently as much as possible.

He tapped Serina's shoulder only to receive a slap that is similar to the hotness of lava. Then, her yell disturbed the birds in their nest. "AHHHHH, Damn, I thought it was a monster or so. You freaking scared me."

"Do I look like a beast to you?" he asked while making a duck face.

Serina gasped in surprise. She stood up and her hands moved on their accord, caressing her husband's cheeks and she said, "Are you okay? Does it hurt?"

Vincaster's ears felt hot and he could not help but blush. At the back of his mind, he was screaming like a guy fangirling his crush.

"OMG, look at your cheek. It's freaking red," says Serina.

Vincaster was enjoying the sight of seeing his wife's concerned look, but all of a sudden, the lady stood up and distanced herself.

"Anyway, why are you here?" she said while raising her eyebrow.

"I think my feet lead me here because my heart told me so. Do you believe in soulmate and destiny?"

Serina frowned and gritted her teeth while glaring at her husband. 

"It's fine if you don't believe in it, so you don't have to put up a face that looks like it's about to bite. Honestly speaking, I just follow a cat"

"Let's head out now. You have your phone with you, right?"

Vincaster took his phone from his suit and pressed Daniel's number, however, a king cobra appeared in front of them. They were too startled. Hence Serina ran and grabbed her husband's wrist, consequently, his phone dropped on the rock.

"Looks like we're going to be stuck here. Anyway, let's stay here for a while and wait for the men I dispatched to come and find us," says Vincaster while flicking the broken screen of his phone.

Serina nodded her head and watched the flowing water from the falls next to them. 

"I'm thinking of bringing you and my in-laws to El Nido for leisure, what do you think? or do you have another place to visit?" 

"I was desperate when I agreed on this marriage, but as much as possible I want to live well on my own. Stop giving us things we did not ask to have. We don't want to be dependent on you. Don't try to set a high standard of man for my family because it would be troublesome once we walk in separate paths."

"I'm trying to give you and your family vacation, so why do you have to say it like that? Do you hate me?"

"I'm thankful for saving us from the financial crisis and staying true to your promise of keeping this marriage as private. Stop giving us things we can't afford, and we didn't ask."

"You didn't answer my question. Do you hate me?"

"Let's find a way instead of staying here," says Serina. 

Vibcaster was jealous so he confronted her, but it only exasperated their argument.

“Do you like that cockroach Gregory?” he said as he clasped his wife's hand. 

“If I have romantic feelings for him, it’s none of your business," she replied.

“Just answer me… what if he likes you, will you be his girl?”

“I might consider it after divorcing you,” she did not mean but it was necessary to remind him and herself that none of their romance was true, thus her intention to drive him away is clear.

He gritted his teeth and before he knew it, his hand had pulled Seri close to him. Vincaster embraced Serina as he threw himself in the water. Then a splash of water as their body meets the cold running water.

“Uah-!” She exclaimed as soon as she recovered from almost drinking the pool’s water.”

“If you want to die, do it alone! I don’t want to die again, you mogul!” she yelled while withdrawing from the water.

The water is dripping from Vincaster’s body “I thought your mind would think straight if I were to pour water on you.”

His eyes suddenly landed on Serina's wet clothes. He removed his suit and covered Serina, and he said, "I'm sorry."

Serina wanted to yell, but why does her heart melt by seeing Vincaster's puppy-like visual?

She knew such feelings should not grow inside her because divorcing should be her priority.
