Darwis's POV

I released my grip, letting my words sink into her mind. Kayra was still crying, but I could see something had changed in her gaze. The despair that had haunted her earlier was slowly replaced by confusion, and maybe... just maybe, a little bit of awareness.

I waited in silence, hoping she would say something, anything. But Kayra just sobbed, her body shaking, as if all the emotions she had been holding back had finally exploded.

"Darwis... I... I don't know what else to do..." her voice was hoarse, barely audible over her sobs.

I took a deep breath, approaching her again, more gently this time. "You don't need to know everything right now, Kayra. All you need to do is take the first step. Don't let this pain control you. Don't let this hatred kill you."
