Kayra's POV

I walked to the table in the corner of the room, pulled out a drawer, and took out a small notebook that I hadn’t touched in a long time. In it, I began to jot down all the ideas that came into my head—ways to ruin her career, ruin the relationships she had, and ultimately, ruin her life completely.

I wrote quickly, almost in a trance, as if my hands and mind were working nonstop. Word after word, plan after plan, everything began to take shape clearly. And the more I wrote, the more I felt that this was the only right thing to do.

When I was done, I closed the book and stared at it in satisfaction. This was only the beginning, but I knew that I was on the right track. My revenge would not be deterred by anything. Nothing could stop me now.

I reached for the chocolate cake Darwis had brought, broke a small piece, and put it in my mouth. The rich sweetness brought me a momentary relief, but it couldn’t erase the bitterness I felt. I p
