Kayra's POV

The pain I felt was getting worse as I hid in the dark corner of this deserted hallway. Every breath felt like a stab in my chest. My face was pale, covered in cold sweat that flowed down my temples. The pain radiating from my stomach was getting worse, making it difficult for me to think clearly.

I pulled my thin jacket closer, trying to find warmth in the darkness. The sound of footsteps in the distance made me even more alert, but I was too weak to move far. While enduring the pain, I tried to calm my mind. "I can't go back to the hospital," I thought. "They'll catch me."

Time seemed to pass in excruciating uncertainty. Suddenly, I heard the sound of footsteps approaching. I pressed my body against the wall, hoping the sound would just go away. However, as the footsteps got closer, a familiar face appeared at the end of the hallway.

"Kayra!" Darwis called me urgently, his gaze full of concern as he saw my condition.
