Kayra's POV

When I left Kate's room, I immediately walked quickly towards the office parking lot, where I saw Darwis who was about to get into his car. My anger peaked and without thinking, I ran after Darwis.

"Darwis!" I shouted in a shrill voice, stopping Darwis who was already halfway into the car. Darwis turned his head in confusion, then frowned at the anger clearly displayed on my face.

"What else is there, Kayra?" Darwis asked in a tired tone, but I didn't care.

"What's wrong? You're actually asking what's wrong?" I approached quickly, closed Darwis' car door hard. "I know what you did in Kate's room earlier. You were trying to get back at her, right?"

Darwis took a deep breath, trying to control his emotions. "Kayra, I just want to talk to Kate about something important. Nothing more than that."

"Nonsense!" I shouted, the sound echoing in the empty parking lot. "I saw how you looked at her! You still love her, right?"

It's time to put Kayra in jail or the nut house because she is totally crazy. No wonder Marwis left her the first time around. He must be totally stupid to go back to her again for the way she is acting.

I have to stay strong and focused, both for myself and for my future with Erlan.Because living with people who love us is better than living with people we love but don't love us. When I tried to refocus on my work, my cell phone rang. Message from Erlan, "Is everything okay, Kate? You seemed a little disturbed earlier." I smiled faintly and typed a reply, "Yeah, just a little disturbance at the office. Thanks for asking. Can we talk tonight?" A quick reply came from Erlan, "Sure, I'll come to your apartment. Take care of yourself." Feeling relieved, I tried to focus back on work, knowing that Erlan was always there for me to provide the calm and support I needed. Today may be full of drama, but I know that I'm not alone in facing it. That afternoon, I went home with mixed feelings. My steps felt heavy w

Before leaving, Erlan gave me a comforting hug, making me feel more ready to face a challenging day. In the office, the atmosphere was tense from the moment I entered the room. My coworkers had heard about the rumors circulating, and they seemed worried. I immediately held an emergency meeting with the management team to discuss the steps to be taken. "Erlan has found evidence that Kayra is behind this rumor," I said firmly in front of the team. "We will take legal action against the reporter involved, and we will not allow this to damage our company's reputation." The management team nodded in agreement, and we began discussing strategies to resolve the situation. Company lawyers joined the meeting, providing advice on legal steps we could take. "The first step is to issue an official statement

Kayra's POV Ryan smiled faintly. “As for Kate, we will make sure that she takes the blame for all of this. We will make her look incompetent and corrupt, so that the board of directors and investors lose confidence in her.” I smiled with satisfaction. “This is perfect, Ryan. When do we start?" “We've started, Kayra. My people have started working at Branch Group, and bad news will soon appear in the media. In a few weeks, you will see the results,” he said confidently. I felt relieved and excited at the same time. This revenge will finally be realized. Kate won't know what hit her, and I will make sure that she feels the same agony she made me feel. With this plan in motion, I felt a little more at ease. I know this is only the beginning, but the first step has been taken. The time for revenge has come, and I won't stop until Kate is destroyed. Darwis's POV I sat in my work chair, staring blankly at the files spread out on the table. The sounds of the office starting to become quiet could be heard faintly, but my mind was full of confusion and dilemmas that never subsided. All this time, I was sure that Kayra was my future. However, the unexpected presence of Kate, with all her success and power, has shaken the foundations of my beliefs. Remembering Kate who stood strong in front of reporters this morning, my heart was shaken. I didn't expect that the woman I once loved had become so strong and powerful. I took a deep breath, trying to push the image of Kate from my mind. "This isn't true," I muttered softly, "I'm with Kayra now." However, those words felt hollow and unconvincing even to me. Memories with Kate came flooding back to her. Her sweet smile, cheerful laugh, and the way she always supports me in every step I take. We once shared the same dreams and hopes, before everything was destroyed due

Darwis's POV We chatted briefly, and without much thought, I asked her to dance. Our bodies moved to the beat of the music, getting closer and more intimate. Under the flashing lights, the world seemed to only consist of me and her. Time passed without me realizing, and before I knew it, we were in a quieter corner of the club. The woman looked at me with a seductive gaze, and in my half-drunk state, I felt swept away by her charm. "Darwis, let's go to a quieter place," she whispered in my ear. I almost agreed to her invitation, when suddenly the image of Kate and Kayra came back to haunt my mind. Feelings of guilt began to creep into my heart. I was silent, trying to gather the remains of my consciousness. "I... I can't," I muttered, even though the sound of the music almost drowned out my words. The woman looked disappointed, but I immediately left, leaving her and returning to John's table. My friends were still having fun, but I knew I had to go. "Where are you going

Kate's POV I stepped out of the office, the cool night air touching my skin as I walked to the car. The thought of having dinner with my father tonight made my steps feel heavier. Over the past few months, our relationship has begun to improve after the previous tension. My father, who was initially so against my relationship with Erlan, had slowly begun to soften. However, for some reason, something felt different. My father, who used to be stiff and rarely showed his emotions, was now more attentive. He often invited me to dinner, talking about little things that had never been a topic of conversation before. Although I was happy with this change, there was still a little worry that was bothering me. Was this a sign that he had finally accepted my relationship with Erlan? Or maybe there was something else he was hiding? I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself before finally deciding to leave. The restaurant my father had chosen was located near his house, so I decided to stop
